Tell me information and all information you have on Yamatsukami (i.e. weakness, breakable parts, recommened weapons/armor/skills, etc.)

Hmmm not much I can offer. Long sword Great sword I would say would be best, for reach purposes. And Dragon Element of course. next to his mouth is some sort of webbing with stitching going through it. For me I found that to be the safest spot to hit. You have to be careful on his movements. His wind tunnel attack is an insta kill. I think he does that right after he slams his face tenticals down, I'm not to sure. When you knock him down, its a good time to get carves, or of course deal serious damage. I would say go for the carves. His gear can be a pain to get. Its like the Lao, just get on his back and hit...Square i think it was. Or was it circle? Its been a while. HIT THE CARVE BUTTON! Hahaha. Good luck with the hunt.

LS or GS
Armor with sharpness+1 or sharp sword, gut's, adrenaline+2, focus and skills that increase your speed (quick eating and SSI)
His attacks are easy and simple to read and shouldn't be to hard to kill
Use dragon or ice, they both deal the same elemental damage
always keep moving and use tranq bombs when it uses suction wind tunnel(2 tranq bombs first try, 3 the next)
Try your best to attack from the sides and never(unless he spit's thunderbugs, falls from tranqs, or does a implant slam) attack his mouth, other than that his mouth is his weakspot
Edit: Any hr8 armor will do, but most people tend to use Rathalos Z or Lavasioth
There are no breakable parts but if you damage the whiskers enough you can get a yama fillet

I killed my first Yamatsukami with the Frost Edge (Well, the final form of it.) With I think 7 minutes left.
Pretty much his weakest point is his "gums" when he yells to spit out the Thunderbugs, aim for his gums. There is a move where he slams down his tentacles onto the field, if there are two, I think he has a chance to "suck" you into his mouth and do some damage. But the two closest to his mouth can be destroyed. I haven't been able to do it with the S&S, since I was trying to kill him.
He'll also do a whirl pool move where he spins like a fan. Stand still and hit X to crouch, then DON'T move. Or you will go flying.
The thunderbugs he spits out, just ignore them, they'll start floating up and down and move in a straight slow line, get out of their path, they explode and kill themselves.
The fight is really self explanatory. After a bit, you will cause him to plummet down. If you have the anti dragon bombs, jump onto his head, drop the bombs, and try to get a carve or two. In all, I got all the on body carves on the second drop. On the third time I got him to fall, he didn't give me anything off of the carves.
The fight isn't really hard, just long and tedious. But you CAN get timed out if he is doing stale moves and you don't get enough critical shots to his gums. But then again I wasn't using a Long Sword or another weapon that dishes out GOOD damage in every shot.
