Okay I'll be blunt about this. I don't like people very much. I just have never really made a full connection with another human being. :/ Don't get me wrong, I have friends that I would absolutely die for but even my closest friend i don't feel like we really connect as much as i think friends should.
So basically i'm a people person, but recently I've figured out I'm really good at helping people with their problems.
I've talked multiple people out of suicides. I've helped almost every single one of my friends with relationship problems. I helped my closest friend out of depression(back when i barely knew him) and got him to start living his life again. Now i'm getting one of my old friends to quit drugs. Don't you agree that it's pretty ironic that the non-people-person is the one that is one of the best at giving advice?
Not to mentiion I have this wierd thing where i can't feel sympathy for people :/ I actually hate that though cause I'll be talking with a friend and it will be a really bad situation they're going through but i just can't seem to make myself feel sorry for them. the only thing i can think is wow thats terrible but they should learn to get past the problem.
So yea that's me. Sorry I just really needed to rant on this but I can't do it in my journal cause a real life friend of mine will end up reading it and i don't know how hed react.
So comment if you like. Not a big deal to me just had to get my thoughts out. Maybe someone on here is the same way as me.
Goodnight peoples, sweet dreams.

i think it makes sense. you are able to distance yourself from the person you are helping and give them a truthful answer, you are more able to properly analize humanity and society without those pesky emotions and attatchments getitng in the way.
you should take some sociology classes

people always tell me i give the best advice, but i am pretty much the same as you. like, i really just tell them how to get over their problems because i hate seeing people whine and b***h or feel bad. usually it's cuz i care, but sometimes it gets to the point that i stop caring and just tell them straight up, "you need to do... or else you're gonna be stuck in this crappy situation forever." or "do you wanna sit here and whine or do you wanna fix it?" and all. but i do feel sympathy most of the time.
