The realm of the Earth clan; a quiet place of ancient forests, and even older stone. The Earth territory is centered along a mountain range;the northern side maintains a dense temperate forest climate...
...while the southern exposure has a more arid climate, much like southwestern United States, or Australia.
The village itself is nestled into the side of a cliff, built generations ago and has stood the test of time. Notice:There will be many changes going on in the next few weeks; if you haven't already, please contact blukattt with your current position if you are already a member of the Earth clan, or position you are applying for if you are new. If you are not in a "trainee" position, you may be called upon to take on an apprentice (an in-training member) so that they may be promoted to a full-fledged position. In this post I will include tips and advice that you will need both to start out, and to RP within the clan. Nothing too strict, I just got sick of typing the same thing over and over. wink xd
As far as your profile, there are two places you will need to post it. First, post it in the Earth Clan subforum, under "Earth Clan Profiles"; just copy my profile as a template, and change the info to yours. Second, in the "Misc. Roleplay" subforum there is a place for profiles of the whole guild, post it there too.
A couple of pointers to make RPing smoother in the CDG:
1) Try to write your posts as if you were telling a story; character statements in quotation marks, thoughts italicized, etc. Not that we're grammar nazis or anything, it just makes it easier to read as a whole if everyone writes in a similar fashion.
2) All out of character statements should be put into some sort of double brackets. ((I personally use these.)) This way something that you say will not be interpreted as something your character is saying. wink
3) No god moding. I've found that characters are much more fun to play with weaknesses. Also, no auto-hitting if you are going to be battling.

* The sun shone down upon the cliff face of the Earth Clan Village, illuminating it in the morning. Out of one of the towers, a blue neko steps out into the morning air, and inhales deeply.*
"Ahhh...." he says as he stretches. "Today feels like a good day. I wonder who is out and about yet."
His name is blukattt, the tribal shaman, and leader of the Earth Clan. A kind man, although some say that the he appeared out of the earth one day, appointed by Earth itself, but no one knows. He walks out into one of the many courtyards that shared a fire circle and sits down next to it. Awaiting the morning's full light, he lights his pipe and stares off...

((Perhaps but we are the Earth forest clan we Cling to the beliefs of Earth and Forest
Earth teaches us Protection, Survival and Making use of its Natural Elements
While Forest teaches us Harmony, Balance with nature, The circle of Life and Making a home within the Wilds
Perhaps im just yammering but thats how i always found it sweatdrop ))
Jasae sat in a tree shielding his eyes from the bright morning light with his hat dozing contently taking advantage of the current calm to preserve is strength.
