Tuu- the unsure lioness with a forgetful memory often found herself puzzled, dazed and confused. She had always been this way, unable to remember where she came from - her past, it was a blur. She hated it but felt that maybe it was a blessing, not remembering all of what had happened? Maybe it was bad, who knew. She sure didnt! Today she was resting under a tree, as if trying to stay cool.

Laramie had been wandering across the desert for some time now, she wanted to experience all of nature, good and bad. And honestly, to her, the desert was one of the badder parts of nature. She simply could not understand how anyone could live in that kind of environment. "Ooooh it's so darn hot!" She pouted.

Tuu's ears perked as she rolled herself up and frowned. What was that? Had someone said something to her? Maybe Tuu was going crazy, maybe... she didn't understand why she kept hearing things! With a soft sigh the little lioness spoke out, her tone light, sweet. "H-Hello?" She called out timidly. "Anyone...?"

The white, flower marked female paused in her walk tilting her head as she did so. Was someone speaking to her? She pressed her lips together and looked around her. Ah! There by that tree! There was a lioness there! "Hello there miss! Could you tell me where I am?"

Tuu stood up and wrinkled a brow at the other female before smiling. Ah! She seemed very nice and humble, Tuu liked this. She liked meeting good people. With a smile and a nod she spoke out to the other lioness. "Hello!- My name is Tuu and this is the Tuait'tekem." She paused. "What is your name? Are you from here?"

"Hello Tuu!" She chirped happily bounding over to the other female grateful to have some company, she had been on her own for aaaaages and she was desperate for company of any kind. Luckily for her it seemed to be pleasant female, which was always good company. "My name is Laramie," she replied. "No," she frowned wrinkling her nose, "though honestly I'm not sure this environment I'd be comfortable with."

"It's not for everyone, I know." She laughed. "I am new somewhat, but I love it here in all truths. This place brings peace to my heart. You know?" She may have sounded crazy but, it was the truth. "So what brings you all the way out here?"

"I have to be honest with you, sand is not my thing," she admitted lifting a pawful of sand, watching as it drained through the spaces between her toes. She looked back at the other female and nodded, "there's a place out there for everyone." She was completely confident in that. She knew that eventually she would stop her travels and settle in a place that she felt comfortable in.
Now, however, she chose to strike it out on the road with no direction. She was just going where ever her paws led her.
She pressed her lips together thinking about the question. "My paws," she replied before laughing lightly. "What I mean is that I'm a traveler and I go where ever my paws lead me," she explained.

"I see; I use to be that way, too- But i've settled myself down here, and I rather enjoy this... not wandering life style. It fits me a lot better."
She smiled and nodded. She did know what it was like to wander, she use to be a free bird too after all.
"So, how long are you looking to stay?"
She asked sweetly. Tuu didn't have a mean bone in her body.

"I like being out on my own, exploring the world to see what it has to offer me," Laramie replied with a sharp nod. "I can't help but feel like I'm missing something, or someone that I have to find before I can possibly even think about settling down anywhere," she lamented with a sigh and a sag of her head. What she wasn't aware of was the fact that it was indeed someone that she was searching for, her mother to be exact.
At the female's question she looked down at the sand and shook her head. "Honestly miss I do not think I will be staying for much longer," she admitted with a sheepish smile. "I am not a fan of the sand, the way it get's between my toe and buried into my fur that I can't quite seem to get out," she shuddered. "I probably will take my leave soon."

"Oh, I see."
Tuu smiled anyway and nodded.
"It's nice to do your own thing and wander."
At her next words though Tuu felt sad.
"Well, if you ever do come back, maybe we could talk again. I've enjoyed speaking to you, really."
She smiled at the female once more. Maybe if she remembered this place with a smile she would want to come back? Maybe... just maybe.

"I must agree with you," she replied with a smile and a nod. "I will certainly look for you if I am ever in this area again," she stated confidently. The lioness had made the sand almost bearable, almost. Unfortunately the sand and the heat just wasn't her cup of tea and as such she knew that it was time for her to leave.
"I apologize Miss Tuu, I find your company delightful but I fear I must take my leave," she lamented with a soft sigh. "I regret the fact our conversation is so short and I haven't really had the chance to get to know you," she shook her head. "However if I am ever in this area again we can continue our conversation?" She asked her tone full of hope.
"Good-bye Miss Tuu!" She chirped beginning to trot away from her.
