PostPosted: Mon Jan 25, 2010 10:09 am

Driving up to their home, Yuurei glanced over at the frei next to her. She had better behave, the woman thought. But Lucia had been acting better, as far as she knew. She had been a lot nicer and more normal than her usual moody self recently. It was a nice change. Slipping out of the car after parking, Yuurei waited for the frei to get herself out before leading the way to the Nao apartment. The directions Namini gave her were fine, she thought with a smile as she found the right door. ”Remember, Lucia. Behave!”

As Lucia floated out of the car and followed her guardian, a bright winning smile lit up her face. She had been nice and had pleasant conversation with Yuu on the ride down, but inside her head a war was going on. You can’t do anything to them! They don’t even know you’re inside me! Please they’ll think I’m attacking them! Lucia could only plead with the man possessing her body. But her pleas fell on deaf ears. Shut the ******** up, frei. Stop bitching. There’s nothing you can do about it. Lucia knew it was the truth. She hadn’t been able to control herself for a few days, and a week before that, it was an entire week. How long would this possession last? Brian didn’t seem to want to make a deal, like the puppy had. The Kitten didn’t know how to get to this guy. He was a serial killer for Christ’s sake! And here he was in HER body! Brian patted the purse he was holding in Lucia’s hand that was full of the arsenal he had had packed. The knife, collapsible baton, and chrome knuckles were all hidden in the oversized purse that he slipped over Lucia’s shoulder as he exited the car. ”Wait up for me, Yuu!” he called out in Lucia’s voice. He had practiced her voice intonations, her looks, and, other than supposedly acting nicer than she usually did, Brian was easily able to pull off the frei’s mannerisms.

Lifting up Lucia’s hand, he knocked on the Nao door twice. He lowered her hand and plastered the same winning smile on her face and held her bag, waiting for the door to open.
Please let us just get through this night without anything awful happening. Please…

David's steel-colored eyes raced around the room, trailing the brunette blur that was his sister. Namini's curls danced around her delicate cheeks, bobbing to and fro to some silent beat, as the teen continued to check on the singing asparagus, the golden chicken pot pie in the oven, the honey-glazed rolls, the cooling chocolate-raspberry cake in the fridgerator. Tonight, there would be enough food for all of Gaia but it would be served to only a select few: a kind blonde and a troublesome feline-femme fatale. An interesting pair. A pair of balance. Just like Namini and Prajna were. At this thought, cerulean eyes scanned the room, stopping for only a split second to meet and greet familiar eyes. David's muscles tensed, as if it to spring up and towards his sister in assistance with whatever she may have asked of him, but Namini's eyes left him in that same moment, murdering instantly whatever hope her brother had of winning back her attention. Both Nao's eyes fluttered across the room to the balcony where a silhouette of red floated in silence. Prajna was overlooking a garden an elderly woman was tending to, a small patchwork of crimson roses and delicate forget-me-nots. The Frei sighed heavily, remembering the heavenly scent of those roses, of Vyn. Vyn Vyn Vyn.

Once the Star had awoken from its slumber, the pleasant iciness running smoothly through its veins, the wretched sweat banished forevermore, that's all it could think about: the haunting beauty with the bottomless eyes and the lips as soft and beautiful as rose petals. Vyn.

Prajna had, sometime in its reminiscing, closed its crimson outlined eyes when suddenly two sharp knocks echoed through the tense air of the apartment. David and Prajna both flinched while Namini continued to coo over chickens and cookies; They turned towards one another slowly, their eyes full of mutual indifference for the other but also a mutual understanding of the situation. Dinner. With the enemy? Dinner. With a potentially hot. hot. new client?

"I'll get it" David announced as he sprung from his seat and glided across the room. The air inside the apartment was stale but crisp and Prajna was saddened to have to re-enter the hellhole. Ever since its recovery, things between Namini and itself had gotten magnificently better while the relationship with David had...come to a standstill. It was if they were strangers, living under the same roof, sharing the same object of affection.

David twisted the doorknob and prepared his warmest smile. He opened the door but instead of being instantly awed by the two beauties before him, he was suddenly back on edge. The girl with dark dark hair, dark makeup, cat ears, the Frei...her smile, he noted, looked a lot like his. When he wasn't David Nao but rather...He pushed the thought to the back of his mind.

"You must be Lucia? Prajna's friend? and her guardian?" David purred, gesturing them to make their way into the living room. Prajna kept its distance from the feline Frei, having made its way back indoors. It remembered...just what that smile of hers meant. The redhead narrowed its eyes suspiciously, crossed its arms and then pressed its crow-like wings against the glass door revealing the balcony. If she were to attack it now, it only had to float onto the balcony and then... jump? Prajna shook its head. Only if worse comes to worse.

Yuurei smiled as David opened the door. This must be Namini’s older brother, she thought back fondly to her teasing of the girl. ”I’m Yuu,” she said, at his questioning hello. Her body language was open, but she was definitely guarded. How much had Namini told him about the last time the two frei met, if he was calling Lucia Prajna’s friend? The blonde figured she’d worry about it later as she took in David’s appearance and the stylish apartment. ”You must be David!” she said warmly to the man. ”Your sister told me about you.” She was teasing, purposefully not saying what was mentioned to leave him wondering.

Lucia nodded cheerfully at David’s questions, not at the friend part – she only smiled then – but at the “Lucia.” Floating into the apartment, the frei looked around. “Your home is really nice!” Brian said in Lucia’s practiced voice. She sounded completely normal, gauging by the frei’s reactions. He couldn’t figure out the name of this man, but he figured that it was because the frei didn’t know.

Looking around, Brian caught the glimpse of red hair, past the dining area and the lounging space. Out on the balcony. Brian thought of how to play this. By not coming to see them in, the red-head was certainly making a statement. He wouldn’t play into it. For now he would take a page out of a cat’s book. Tire your prey out first. Make them run around. Then pounce and devour. Besides, he thought, it would be fun to see the genderless frei squirm. These animal were so pathetic.

-Lucia, trapped hopelessly in her own body didn’t hear any of Brian’s thoughts. But her certainly heard hers. Please leave them alone! Namini and her brother didn’t do anything! Shut up frei. I told you. There’s nothing you can do. Besides. Anything I do to Prajna is nothing more or less than you want. Your journal Ugly in every way possible. If I could kill someone, it would be the one. Your words. Not mine. I hate it, but I wrote that when I was infected! ******** stop! Lucia smiled and returned her attention to David. ”It’s really nice to meet you!”

"Yuu" David purred, enjoying the short but velvety feel of the woman's name. He returned her lovely smile and then nodded in agreement, watching as the duo entered the apartment. "Yes, Namini told me about you as well. Speaking of Namini, she's just in the kitchen finishing up--"

A familiar set of curly brown locks bounced from around a corner, the teen herself nearly bouncing from mix of nervous excitement, "Just a few more minutes, I swear! Yuurei, would you or Lucia like anything to drink?"

David smirked at his sister's unexpected enthusiasm but suddenly took in Prajna's distant nature. Friends huh? I think Namini's sugar-coating something.. The gears in David's mind began to turn, slowly, but turn nonetheless. Now that the virus was done and over with, Prajna had become more verbal but its body language was more confusing than ever. Though its arms would cross, it would throw a compliment to you, in an absolute genuine tone. If it smiled, there could no longer be confidence in just assuming the Flame intended harm. David took in Prajna's defensive posture but tried his best to focus on the newcomers. Tonight would be a night to focus on Prajna's tricky words versus the way it held itself together.

Speaking of words... David took in Lucia's sugary introduction with a half-hearted smile before, again, nodding in agreement, "It's a pleasure to meet you as well. ...Prajna? Come say 'Hello.' to our guests."

The redhead's eyes flickered with what David could only hope was enthusiasm as the Star made its way towards the doorway, though its arms remained chained across its chest. Icy blues shifted quickly in between Lucia's disgustingly flawless, female features and Yuurei's enchanting, human traits as a frown sat itself deeper into the genderless Frei's features.

"It has be a long time for last time Prajna saw. Yuurei. Lucia. Prajna hope nothing but," it paused, pretending to search for the appropriate word before continuing, a soft smirk adorning its androgynous features now as its cerulean eyes dirtied Lucia's body with insulting thoughts. "Health."

David flinched.
PostPosted: Wed Feb 03, 2010 5:17 pm

The blonde grinned at how he said the common nickname. David certainly seemed as charming as she imagined the older brother of her young friend. At Namini's sudden appearance a wide smile spread across Yuurei's face. "Take your time, hun! And I'd love some wine if you have some." Turning to Lucia, the frei shook her head at the unasked question. "And Lucia's all set for now." Yuurei smiled as Prajna floated over, but she was a bit on guard. She still didn't know who started that fight at the beach. But Lucia promised to be nice, so she figured she'd only have to keep an eye on the red-head.

I can see why you want to kill it, Brian thought to Lucia with an internal grin. "It has been a while, Prajna! And I've been well. It's great to see you. Sorry about any misunderstanding last time. We were sick and everything." Lucia smiled at Prajna and looked at David expectingly as she noted the flinch. Well, he was perceptive enough too. Even without Lucia's memories of the fight - which he had reveled in - Brain knew this thing was hostile. Its vapid words did nothing to dissuade his initial impression of the frei from Lucia's notes and mind. They really are idiots, he thought, clutching the heavy purse.

Lucia felt her own anger flare. ******** b***h, she thought at the frei, almost trying to will her hand up to slap the star's face. Ridiculous hello. Though she did NOT like it she WAS willing to maybe give it a chance if it was nice without the virus. But no. See. You want it. You want to kill it. You want to hurt it. Be patient, frei. Soon enough you'll be satisfied. Brian floated Lucia's body further into the house to greet the guardian he had a memory of. "Hello, Namini! I can't eat, obviously, but whatever you're making smells wonderful." He smiled that practiced natural smile and continued, "Can I help with anything?"

Yuurei smiled at Lucia's response and apology. Wonderful. Finally Lucia seemed almost human. She was pleasant and sweet, like any young girl should be. "Hopefully they'll get along fine this time," the blonde said in a whisper after she leaned over and spoke softly in David's ear. She tossed her hair and shrugged her shoulders noncommittally. Of course she didn't know that David didn't know about the two frei's tryst, so she had no problem alluding to it.

David did not try to conceal his growing anxiety. He felt like Namini and the newcomer blonde were communicating in some kind of secret, unbreakable language. "Take your time" seemed to translate to "Don't rush: we don't want something unfortunate to occur." "Wine" was some code word for "relief." "Hopefully they'll get along fine this time"?! David swallowed hard, his mind racing now. The man couldn't help but keep his steely grey eyes off of the cat-Frei either. There seemed to be something more to her than how intimidating she looked in her spiked bracelets and revealing attire. Lucia emitted "dark" in a more haunting sense that sent a small chill up David's spine just thinking about it.

The man returned to reality, "I've got some wine in my room. It's a rose wine is that alright? I might have some red somewhere...but I highly doubt it."

Namini's ears had perked at her brother's voice and soon she found herself curious. David drank wine? She'd keep that in mind. She continued to watch the asparagus simmer, wondering, from her noisy corner in the kitchen, just what was occurring between Prajna and Lucia. That's when she heard a female's voice sing out to her, "Oh, no I'm ok Lucia. Thank you for offering. Please, take a seat if you'd like."

Prajna did not like Lucia's words. "Were"? No. In the Star's eyes, every female but the beauty that was Vyn was and forever would remain "sick." The redhead watched the tension between them spread like an outstretched hand to its older guardian. So, David noticed something weird about this wench too hm? Prajna watched with a surgeon's eyes as Lucia floated this way and that, trying to charm everything that move, the redhead itself trying to figure out what was going through the cat's small little brain. She seemed..way too different from before. Maybe she needs a little push to get her back to her true self. Prajna mentally prepared itself for battle, an uncomfortable frown tugging at the sides of its thin lips.

"Lucia" Prajna called, its voice flat but dangerous, like a thin sheet of ice covering the surface of a bottomless pond. "If you truly are sorry, then why you look not at Prajna? You alright you say? Prajna sees not more than weakness still."

Its English remained broken and improper but Prajna wondered if the insult came across just right nonetheless.

Yuurei smiled at the man. ”Oh don’t worry about the red.” The woman liked any kind of wine, but preferred dry with a hint of fruity flavor. ”Rose wine wounds perfect, actually.” She waited until he went to his room before stepping into the kitchen. ”Hi Namini! I’m so glad we were able to get together again!” she said as Prajna spoke quietly to Lucia. She looked around at everything her friend had done. The asparagus looked delicious, the table was set beautifully, and everything seemed to be under control. ”I know Lucia already asked, but is there anything I can do to help? It looks like you’ve got everything under control, and I’m not much of a cook, but I can stir something or take something to the table without causing much damage,” she offered with a light laugh, peering over Namini’s shoulder. ”How have you, David, and Prajna been?”

Lucia followed Namini’s suggestion with a gracious smile. She pulled out a chair on one side of the table and seated her body in it. Her eyes were taking the apartment and lifestyle in until Prajna spoke to her. And then her attention was focused completely on the frei. As Prajna asked why she didn’t look at it, the purple orbs stared straight into its blue ones. Her cold eyes did not blink once as she stared deadpan and unafraid, almost threatening, but a smile spread across her face. Control. Control. Don’t laugh; it’ll give it away. But it’s sooooooo good. Brian was hoping that Lucia’s controlled attitude would get to the frei. And so far it was working. While Prajna’s digs were infuriating Lucia, Brian wanted the redhead to get even more mad, even more frustrated by her refusal to care. It wanted a reaction. So why give it one? Eventually it would react and everything would break down from there. In his life Brian was a smart man, using psychology against his victims. In his death he was able to use psychology against all of his victims, including the cat.

He couldn’t help himself. A giggle escaped his lips. It thought he was weak? It really thought that a stupid, childish, genderless mere frei would be stronger than himself? Brian calmed himself, stopping the giggles and raised one of Lucia’s thin eyebrows. Leaning forward towards the other raevan, she spoke softly but in her normal tone, rather than a whisper. Bri was certain that only Prajna could hear Lucia’s voice. ”Prajna, hun,” she said sweetly with a smile, ”stop acting like a little kid. Why don’t you be a good little frei, sit down, and stop embarrassing Namini and David. Believe me, you look foolish.”

Lucia didn’t want to admit herself, but she would have praised Brian’s comment had the situation been changed. And she felt awful because of it. The frei sunk into herself, and tried to sleep or remove her mind from the situation. But…maybe she was just like Sparks. No. Maybe he was better than her. She would have looked even more foolish than Prajna. She would have hit it. She still wanted to. He had more control; he knew what to say and how to keep his emotions in check. No, frei. Brian thought, allowing Lucia to be able to hear his thoughts for once. I just like the anticipation. You’ll learn to love it too. I can see you already appreciate it.

Namini felt a pinkness flicker to life in her cheeks as she double-checked the pot pie coming to life in the oven, a nervous hand brushing wandering curls from her right ear, "I've got everything under control, but thank you...Thank you, Yuurei. Please, make yourself comfortable. Now, if David's said something to make you...uncomfortable, I'll get him for that."

The teen picked up a nearby spatula and made a large, playful X in the air with it as David reentered the room, making a dying moan as he presented a large emerald-colored bottle.

"Ta~da~! Tonight, Namini gets to be one of the grown-ups," David chuckled, the blonde's beauty slowly returning him back to his youthful mannerisms. Maybe..Maybe he was just overreacting. As he began to pour the wine into delicate glass cups, David quickly began to push his concerns to the back of his mind, a move he would later regret.

Prajna watched as everything fell into slow motion. The room was spinning but it wasn't. Lucia's violet eyes were pulling, pulling, clawing at Prajna's neck and clothes like some kind of drunken beggar, as if by closing the space between the two Freis would bring the cat closer to some kind of relief. Or fun little surprise. Prajna found itself unable to restrain itself: its lips twitched into a smirk. Lucia's eyelashes were dark and long and, as she leaned in close, as she smiled, the Star also noted how her skin showed no pore, no flaw and yet...Prajna still found her so unattractive.

Perhaps it was that scratchy voice. It felt like cheap felt in the Flame's ears, while Vyn's had been nothing but silk and the gates of Heaven opening.

"---Fool--" is all Prajna found itself hearing when Lucia's lips stopped moving and she was nothing but smiles and rulebook courtesy again. Prajna blinked. What had she said?

"Fool?" Prajna repeated, tasting the word. It knew it meant the same as "stupid" or "dumb", but for some reason, the way Lucia had said it... "Does not care. Prajna does not care if fool. Lucia is more weak still and still ugly forevermore."

Prajna did not take a seat at the table. Instead, without checking to see if they were still being visually hounded by their guardians, the redhead floated over to Lucia's side of the table and let some of her midnight-colored tresses slip between its pale fingers. Or rather, ran its delicate fingers through the course of a ponytail. Its smirk widened as it shook its hands once finished, as if throwing some invisible water off of them.

"Yes, still ugly. And feeling of cheap and poor."

Prajna prepared itself for a hit.

Yuurei smiled at the younger girl. "Great! It smells wonderful, whatever it is. And no he's been hospitable," she said waiting until David returned with a playful wink at him as he entered to room. She laughed at the sibling playfulness, but her eyebrows raised appreciatively as the wine. The woman tossed her hair behind her shoulder and her amber eyes watched David as he worked the cork.

"Ooo," she said at his tease of Namini's age. Her slender fingers brushed his hand as she took the fragile stem. Her rose lips barely brushed the rim as she smelled the pink alcohol in the glass. "Mmmm" she moaned appreciatively. She would wait to sip, just in case there was a toast David wanted to make or something.

"It looks like a nice one. If you like wine I should show you my private collection some time. I'm a bit of a connoisseur. Nana taught me well" she grinned at the man, strands of blonde falling on front of her face again as she playfully examined him. "Once you're 21 you can come too, Namini. Well - if you like wine. Not everyone enjoys the flavor."

Wow this one is dumb he thought as obviously nothing he said penetrated the dull mind of this thing. The fact that it was still talking proved that point. Hesheit was obviously trying to get a rise out of the kitten, but it was funny to see. A sob-like laughter emitted from between Lucia's lips as Brian could not help but find the frei's words ridiculous. What an a**, he thought. While Lucia didn't feel like laughing (though with Brian controlling her body she couldn't help her laughter), she agreed with the man's sentiments about Prajna being a stupid a**. But when it touched her hair. She wanted blood. She didn't care about its words. She just didn't like that it was touching her. PERSONAL SPACE JERK! she thought and then cringed when she heard Brian's internal laughter at her outrage.

And Prajna was all show. It was all shallow. It was like a play and Prajna's role was to not like the frei. Well it was a bad actor. Overdone, uncontrolled, and silly. Brian's laugher couldn't be contained and rather than responding to the Star he just laughed at it, in its face and at its foolishness. Slipping Lucia's hand into her purse, under the table, Brian felt the objects, getting the one he wanted. The chrome knuckles felt heavy as he slid the Cat's fingers into the right holes and pulled the knuckles and her hand out of the purse. Keeping the hand hidden under the table for the right moment, Lucia's purple eyes were piercing the other frei. "Don't be a b***h" he said softly, again so only Prajna could hear.

David felt his ego swell as Yuurei's eyes wandered up and down the bottle, as if she had never seen such a thing. Ohhh how the man loved women like her. After pouring the glasses, David held one out to Yuurei, his finger tracing the rim of the rounded glass, "I'd love to see any private collection in your care, Yuurei."

Namini rolled her eyes as she took the finished asparagus from the stovetop and the crisp pot pie from the oven. As she began counting plates and dividing the meal, Namini suddenly realized how quiet it was, outside the guardians' small chit-chat.

Suddenly, her voice nothing more than an exhale, Namini asked, her eyes staring off into space, "David..were you keeping an eye on Prajna?"

And as if on cue, Prajna's shaky right hand grabbed a nearby fork and twisted skyward bound, creating two slivers of red against Lucia's right cheek. Because of the sudden adrenaline rush, Prajna had missed the outside of her lips, having hoped to hook into the mouth itself and just tear open the flapping nuisances. b***h. This was one of the forbidden words, one of the Bad Things Namini had taught it never to say, not ever. And here was this.. b***h calling the well-mannered Star a b***h! Prajna could barely control its anger any longer. If Lucia wasn't going to fight, then Prajna was just going to beat the crap out of her. Females, it thought, should be taught a lesson.
PostPosted: Sun Mar 07, 2010 8:00 pm

The blonde smiled at the flirtation and her eyes flicked to her curly-haired friend. She looked at him with her amber pools and softly spoke, ”Any private collection?” Her voice was full of teasing and promise, but it was just good fun. Yuurei’s eyes flicked away from David and she looked at the dinner Namini had made. ”Wow! This all looks great!” she smiled at her friend, but wiggled her butt a bit more than she normally would when walking to the counter.

At Namini’s soft question she turned and looked past David towards the dining room just as the thin prongs of the fork slid down across Lucia’s soft cheek.

Lucia’s blood boiled, but the smile on her face reflected her own feelings as well. Brian would FINALLY let her punch the b***h. She felt the heavy weight of the chrome knuckles in her hand as her fingers were spread pretty wide apart. She was laughing that sob-like laughter, even as the blood began to ooze up through the shallow wound.

Instead of pulling her arm back and punching Prajna, her arm flew up as she did and the heavy metal knuckles smashed into its cheek and the power behind her swing split open the skin. Wow, she thought. That was all on an upswing. It wasn’t a real punch!

Brian’s laughter got louder as he saw Yuurei, the first guardian to see it, begin – to late – to scramble towards the pair. See. You love it, frei, he taunted with veracity. Pulling back Lucia’s arm with the swiftness of a sigel, he swung her fist forward into the right side of the Star’s chest. Her muscles burned as they were strained with a strength and power they didn’t possess. The pain felt good, he realized. He was alive.

And then Lucia was on the ground. What the --?

Yuurei, not seeing any other way to stop Lucia from continuing to abuse the frei had tackled the kitten to the ground. ”Get off of me! It started it!”

Both Naos watched in horror as the violent series of events unfolded before them, the scenes spinning by as if in slo-mo. Namini instinctively dropped the spatula and asparagus, trying to push her way past the others, but Yuurei and David had already responded to the situation, like some kind of special operations' EMTs, designed specifically to maintain Raevan order. Namini watched, half hidden behind the counter, as Yuurei, the elegant beauty that she was showed a more dangerous side to her looks and as David, the casual flirt and playful brother that he was, pulled a complete one-eighty, replacing his signature smirk with a dark, raw look of solemnity. Namini felt her blood freeze painfully in the veins of her fragile body as she watched Prajna take a heavy blow to the face, a splash of crimson dripping down its cheek. It was hard to breathe! Then, things picked up speed.

Yuurei tackled Lucia to the ground! David swung and pinned Prajna against the wall! The air was quiet and tense aside from Prajna's cursing and shuffling. Something inside the Star had snapped. What the redhead was experiencing was completely foreign, unlike anything it had felt before. When it had fought Varun, things had began slow, things had maintained some form of order, as if both Raevans had unknowingly followed some fighting code of conduct. When Prajna had fought Delia, things were a blur, an odd heated blur, but nonetheless, that unspoken understanding of fighting rules seemed inevitable. With Rivener, the same intensity was there. The want to hurt but the want to play by these "rules" coexisted in every one of these "fights." But here Lucia was...Here was this...FEMALE pushing Prajna to new limits. It wanted nothing more than to hurt hurt HURT her, to tear her ugly lips off, to scratch and claw at her hideous animal ears, to rip out her horrible black hair, to make her feel so sorry for ever crossing Prajna! The Flame beat the wall with the fork still in hand as it flapped its wings violently against David's chest, forcing the older Nao to press Prajna's bleeding cheek into the pristine wall.

"Prajna! Stop it! Stop squirming! We can't stop the blood if you kee--PRAJNA! STOP STABBING THE WALL!" David roared into the Frei's ear but it was futile. The Star let out the most god-awful scream it could produce as it made a lunge for Lucia, the blood on its cheek spread all across its cheek and jaw now. The burning in Prajna's chest was unbearable. The need to feel warm blood on its hands, the blazing desire to take away ...to take away a life was so strong, Prajna felt its head begin to spin. Or maybe it was because of the loss of blood. Nothing made sense anymore.

As Prajna attempted to stab indefinite holes into Lucia's fragile looking face just by looking at her with its piercing blues, suddenly there was a warmth on its other, whole cheek. The Star's breathing stopped. It blinked, hard, once, twice, three times before realizing what the feeling was. Namini had crept up on her brother and her charge, a disappointed look playing across her doll like features. Prajna's eyes snapped back to reality and its breathing resumed, a bit ragged but slowed now.

"Prajna..Let's get you cleaned up.." Namini murmured as she gestured for David to let go. The older Nao seemed reluctant but eventually gave in, as Namini took hold of each of Prajna's hands. The room had become eerily silent now. "I'm sorry, Ms. Yuurei.." the teen choked as she guided Prajna towards another room of the apartment. The Frei seemed to be floating off in a daze, though its eyes flickered continously back and forth between Namini's face and Lucia's.

Once they were fully out of the picture, David turned to Yuurei, sighing. He noted the blood covering his shirt and frowned, but then turned genuinely concerned eyes to his guests, "I..Is there anything..we..or rather, I can do for you? ...We had no intention of having the evening going like this, Ms. Yuurei. Lucia."

David's steely eyes narrowed at the cat's name, nodding towards the metal knuckles decorating her fist.

Lucia beat her wings hard, trying to push off of the floor to get at Prajna. And it deserved it. It deserved anything she gave, even the frei inside of the body was certain of it. But she was stuck. Yuurei was on top of her and was grabbing the bones of her wings. A mad smile lit up her face as her eyes didn't move from the Star. She licked her lips and took a breath. She may have had a few scratches, but Prajna was a bloody mess.

Yuurei was pissed. Her blood was boiling and she wanted nothing more than to drag the frei right out of the home, to the car, and right to the lab to get whatever the hell this was taken care of. Obviously the checkup with Dr. Tsu did nothing to quell her attitude; this was definitely an escalation!

The blonde, her heart beating hard against her chest, pushed herself off of the floor and pinned Lucia's wings together with one hand. The frei was easy to control, whether it was because Yuurei had efficiently pinned or because Prajna was no longer in the room didn't matter to the woman. She dragged the Cat over to her purse, reached inside and handed her the keys. "Go sit in the car. Now," she said angrily, finally finding her voice.

Lucia took the keys and eyes turned to David. She smiled madly and then gently waved her fingers that were still spread by a now bloody set of chrome knuckles. A bit of Prajna's blood dripped off of them onto the floor, but the frei didn't notice as she left through the front door. See. You love it.

Yuurei looked sadly at David, before she walked over to the door through which Namini had lead Prajna. "I'm so sorry, Prajna. I don't know what is wrong with her," she said gently through the door. She pursed her lips and sighed turning to David. "I - I'm really so sorry," she said softly, her eyes trailing up to his. She had yet to notice the Star's blood on her own clothing, but she stepped up to David and, ignoring normal manners, gently touched his torso where the blood had stained his clothing. "If there is anything I can do, let me know. Namini has my number, but here" she said handing him a business card from her purse. "My private doctor's number. And on the front is my cell. For you to have - if you want," she tried to smile, but it wound up tight and sad. "Please tell your sister that I - I'm just sorry," she said. The young woman pushed a few loose strands of hair out of her face and sighed heavily, picking up her purse.

Seeing the truly apologetic look on Yuurei's features seemed to increase her already established beauty and to see such a female in such dismay, David could not resist putting on a mirrored expression of painful understanding. His stormy eyes softened just a tad as he graciously took Yuurei's card and slipped it into his pants' pocket, for once at a loss for words. Then the older Nao's heartstrings were tortured even more so as the blonde carefully approached the locked door, behind it David was sure Namini, at least, would be listening just as sadly as he was.

As Yuurei finished up her apologies, Lucia now long gone, and turned towards the door, David hated himself for being so unhelpful and so, finally tried to ease the woman's pain by acting in the only manner he really knew how: Within an instant, the taller Chinese male carefully but reassuringly placed his arms around the other's delicate shoulders and squeezed lightly, hoping to genuinely express all the comfort and concern David felt for the beautiful stranger.

"I'm sorry too," he stated, perhaps a bit too solemnly. "Maybe...next time. They'll find peace, one day."

He attempted a smile, though it still came out blatantly doubtful.
