Hey, hey! So I was working on Fallon's front page, and I added a section on 'Extracurricular Activities' to it. Then I realized -- is there a master list of it? I think it would be cool if people submit their clubs/officer positions so that we can keep a running list on what goes on at Crystal Academy after school. It would also provide for more RP opportunities! If you have a club you want to submit, please use this form: Club Title: Club Description: Are there meetings? If so, when?: Is your student an officer?: If so, what position? Pretty straight forward, yes? If you come up with the club, then you get dibs on the officer positions, if you so choose. If you list the club here, then it is assumed that anyone can join. If you see a club that you think your character would be interested in, then post here, and I will add you to it. If for some reason you submit an exclusive club, then let me know that and I will direct interested students to you personally. Hope that was clear!

Crystal Academy Extracurricular Activities
Last updated - February 2nd, 2010
Sports Teams Equestrian TeamCrystal Academy has the best equestrian team in all of Destiny City. In fact -- they have the only school-based one. Most of their competition comes from the surrounding cities. Girls who ride for Crystal Academy are provided free boarding for their horses, but as one of the more competitive teams, they are held to a much stricter regiment when it comes to practices. There are two divisions for the team. The A Squad is composed of the champion riders who go to competition. The B Squad is made up of those who need more practice, but are permitted on the team in a strictly non-competitive role to earn the right to ride for Crystal Academy. (The B Squad is often asked to muck the stables for the A riders.) They practice four days a week, Monday through Thursday immediately following the end of the school day.Member List A TeamSkye Fortescue Eliza Marshall B TeamFallon Iva Novette-Naim Lacrosse TeamCrystal Academy's lacrosse team is one of their more aggressive sports teams -- but one that the school excels at quite nicely. The coach is always looking for new girls, and it is not uncommon for her to approach random students in the hallway and ask if they've ever considered playing. Practices are Monday through Thursday immediately following the end of the school day.Swim Team The Crystal Academy swim team is very successful and holds many major competition titles. Girls who swim for Crystal Academy are put on strict exercise and diet regiments that rival the pressure put on the dancers of the school. Though some girls might also practice synchronized swimming, the school is known for its agile swimmers who look graceful both in and out of the water. Meadowview and Crystal have a heated rivalry in this sport. Practices are Monday through Thursday BEFORE the start of the school day. During competition season, they frequently hold additional practices on Saturday mornings.Tennis TeamTennis at Crystal Academy is just as serious as grooming and good posture. This was one of the first sports that permitted female players historically, and CA seems intent on fulfilling that legacy. Girls who play for the tennis team must travel frequently to competition, but the school is happy to make exceptions for them, so long as they continue to win. Practices are Monday through Thursday immediately following the end of the school day.

Crystal Academy Extracurricular Activities
Last updated - February 1st, 2010
Extracurricular Clubs Ballroom Dance ClubThis club was started by one of the teachers who instructs the girls of Crystal Academy on finishing lessons. Those who seek greater study of the art of ballroom dance are invited to take part in this club to hone their talent. Boys of privilege from the local community are invited to join either based on financial status or pending a rigorous interview process. Think of it as Junior Debutante Ball. The club meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.Member List Elegancia D'strella Aurora Namid Fallon Iva Novette-Naim Cheer SquadTBA description. The club meets every weekday one hour before the start of first period.Member List Larissa Duncan ( Vice Captain) Eve Summers French Club, or Le Club FrançaisThe French Club had fallen into obscurity in recent times, but the new student body has refounded the extracurricular activity and are hoping to expand their numbers. The club is essentially a place to both speak and learn French, to eat French food, and to watch French movies. Anyone can join, but some members look down on those who do not understand the language. Meetings are held on Friday nights.Member List Fallon Iva Novette-Naim ( Secretary) Elke April Arma Photography ClubPhotography Club is basically photographers and people interested in the art who meet up to discuss cameras, hold contests, and learn new theories and techniques. There's usually snacks, and while the contests are always open to the entire school, usually it is members of the club who win the top prizes. The club meets every Thursday about an hour after the end of class. Paranormal Research SocietyThe club started as a general place for fans or believers of the supernatural to meet and discuss various incidents worldwide. Members are encouraged to seek out proof if they so wish, though the adviser and officers often point out it must be through legal means and channels. Field trips in the past have included weekend stays at supposedly haunted locations to conduct field research with standard equipment paid for by members via fund raisers, out of pocket cash, or donations made by families. The club meets on Mondays after the end of the last period.Member List Lilith Calchas ( Vice President) Science ClubThe Science Club is an afterschool open forum to discuss pertinent scientific issues of the past and present. The club puts forth a team for Destiny City's annual brain bowl and trains for it throughout the year. Joining the group for a semester is a mandatory part of grade recovery in any science class, so a large bulk of the members are people who don't even enjoy science. The club holds meetings every Tuesday and Thursday after school in one of the labs on campus. Members who are part of the recovery program must attend at least one meeting every two weeks. Member List Suri Ellis ( Faculty Advisor)

Current Crystal Academy Students
I used American standards for figuring out what grade level each student would be in based on age. If you have a reason for the student to be up or down a grade, please let me know, and I will change it. I know some people start school early/late so there is certainly some wiggle room. Freshman Class ( 14 turning 15 ) Danika Cybele ( missing) Mindy Lee Serenity Niamh Kinderman Avalon Renee Sophomore Class ( 15 turning 16 ) Delphine Amary Elke April Arma Erin Broderick Margaret Sue-Ann Butler Cordelia Carden Larissa Duncan Imogen Adél Farrago Yuki Hisakawa Thessaly Juliana Jones Eliza Marshall Emily Moffat Aurora Namid Fallon Iva Novette-Naim Esen Quinn Saylor Serenade Soriano Emmeline Watson Junior Class ( 16 turning 17 ) Angela Bryne Aree Cadence ( expelled) Lilith Calchas Kala Cherian Serah Eos Skye Fortescue Abeline Froust* Miriam Judith Jacobs Melody Klein Milla Ludkhannah Bell McMahon Giselle Petrova Melinda Chumana Reese Senior Class ( 17 turning 18 ) Khalla Anselm Hero Adelaide Barrett* Jada Chamberlyn Alba Gale Delores Elegancia D'strella Eilian Halpan Ariana Knight Reanna Marshall Amaravati Priti Pandora Idlewild Sagan* Dale Spencer Eve Summers Aurelia Amelia Thorne* * Denotes that character has no birthday listed in diary. This is just a rough guess based on the listed age.

Ume and Angela are Meadowview students (though Angela was a Crystal student before and during the Barren Pines plot), I believe.
Esen is a sophomore, despite the fact she's turning 17, due to the year in Barren Pines College. (Everyone with a human BP character's interpreting their character's experiences differently from others, from the looks of it, but as the school was wiped from their memories, I don't think it's much of a huge issue... who knows.) Besides that, nothing to report at this time.

Whoops, took Ume off. I'll check with DFA on Angela. I saw Crystal art in her profile so I went with that. I will add Esen to the sophomore class!

Elke is a fifteen-year-old sophomore (her birthday's in September, which is before my local cutoff date, so she'd be a sophomore here and I just always played her that way XD) smile And also probably a member of Le Club Francais, as it's her first language and she doesn't want to forget it <3
Re: ages also, Elke would have been a freshman as she did die for a year, but she tested back into sophomore year. Except in algebra and history, where she's still taking frosh-level courses.
Also!

Updated!
I think I felt compelled to do this because of how obsessed with extracurricular activities I was in school... and life. Plus I like knowing how Fallon might know another Crystal Academy student without scouring every journal.
