Chobi:
The rogue lands were much different the the swamps. Tahki was finding that for one there wasn't as much water or mud, which surprised her. Though , we're talking about a lioness who had never stepped foot out of the heart of her pride lands, so it was pretty easy to surprise her.
She missed the soft squish some time fart noised plops that she got walking through the mud. Sigh.
Ah well, at least she hadn't run into any demon lizards. Her crack pot theories seemed to be proven wrong from day one. That was a very good thing, very good in deed.
The female still couldn't help but feel homesick as she sunbathed on some random boulder. How the hell was she supposed to find her new name any how?
Tabs:
Shoo was pretty relaxed today, he had been spending a lot of time away from his pride, as if flirting with the idea of another life outside of this place, away from here. He rolled onto his side before he stood up and yawned. He needed to start his day. "Mmmm..." He muttered, looking around.
Chobi:
Tahki yawned lazily as she sun bathed on her boulder. The lioness would figure out the hard question of what the crap she was supposed to be doing on her name quest another time. The sunrays were just to nice on her pelt, and she was enjoying them.
Her lazy eyes fell upon another lion not to far off. She lifted a brow and lazily watched him from her perch. A male from the looks of it and he looked to be alone. Tahki's tail flicked lazily.

Shoo smirked as he noticed her, she was very pretty. He rolled onto his paws and tip-toed over to her with a rather sly grin. "Hello lovely lady." He smiled with a slight now, standing in front of her, tilting his head to the side. "What is a pretty thing like you doing out here all alone?"
Chobi:
Tahki couldn't help but beam. This was the first time any one had referred to her as a lovely lady. Inside that head of hers she still thought of her self as a child. It hadn't been that long ago she and her friends had been rolling around the muddy banks of the swamp after all.
"I'm on a name quest," Tahki's chest puffed out a little like the wannabe warrior she was. "Its very important," She whispered and giggled.

"A name quest! I see. So we are from the same pride." He smiles at her some before moving to sit down on his back paws. "So, any luck?" He wondered if she was feeling alright being away from home, he knew when he did his name quest he felt very alone and lost.
Chobi:
The lioness frowned and shook her head.
"Im not sure what I'm supposed to do. I mean how will I know when I find my true name? Is there some sort of magical light and god involved or is it just something that dawns on me one day..." She chewed her lip some thinking about it. "I mean I know everyone has to go on the.. wait did you say same pride? " She titled her head. "I dont think I ve ever seen you before.. but my mother put me and the rest of the cubs on lock down during the .. .tragic events.."

He nodded at her words and frowned for a second. He knew her pain. This whole quest could be very hard on one' mind and body. He glanced at her for a second before speaking in a rather 'matter o fact' kind of tone, "Your true name will just come to you, may it be from nature or a dream." He paused and nodded. "I was born in the pride, but I have also been spending a lot of time away from others, I wouldn't want to end up dead." He made a joke, though he knew it may not be funny.
Chobi:
"Dead?" Oh right the tragic events, lions had died.
"Yeah.. Our pride had a pretty bad infestation of demonic lizards... Its .. just horrible what happened..." Tahki still didn't know what really had happened. She had been pretty closely watched when these events were going on. So, like any other imaginative cub, she made up her own crack theories.
" But thats all in the past now..." The lioness shook the thought from her head. "If you're spending time away from the pride why not come with me." Tahki smiled. "I mean.. if you want to."

"Heh." He chuckled at her. She didn't know what had happened- but he wouldn't call her out on it. He knew sometimes it was best not to know things of that nature. He nodded at her words before answering. "I would love to come with you. Who knows, maybe I can help you find your true name?" He laughed. She was a very sweet girl. He could see it already.
Chobi:
Tahki nodded , "Yeah that would be pretty awesome. By the way, my names Tahki . Whats yours?"
She hadn't realised that they had not yet introduced them selves. The female gave him a tilt of her head.

"My birth name is Shoo, but my new name, my true name is Mkal." He gives her a smile and a nod, his golden brown mane falling past his bright eyes. "So, let's be on our way, then- Tahki. It's time to find you a name."
Chobi:
The lioness mouthed the name Shoo to her self, "Thats cute." The female stretched and got up on all fours. The sun was nice but Sho- I mean - Mkal was right. They probably should be on their way.
"Where should we start ? I already looked under this boulder and couldn't find anything. I also checked in that tree. " The lioness was being quite serious.

He smiled again at her childish charm and looked around. "Maybe you should try looking in here first." He says as he places a paw on her chest, nodding. "Sometimes names, they come from within." As he speaks he moves his paw and places it back on the ground, eyeing her softly. "Do not worry, it just takes time. It will come to you soon, swear."
Chobi:
Tahki couldn't help but wonder for a moment if he meant literally. She smiled and looked up at the lion. He was quite handsome now that she really got a good look at him.
Her white cheeks turned pink and she had to look away to conceal her blush. "W-well Mlaki.." The female turned her back on the male and hopped off the rock starting off in some random direction. Tahki turned her neck and smiled up at the male, "Come on slow poke~" She teased sticking her tongue out at him.

He chuckled to himself and nodded, sitting up so he could quickly follow her on this little quest, a quest to find her real self, her real name. "Hey, watch it. This slow poke bites !" He jokes before moving to talk beside her. This was the start of something new.
