It's big, furry, and annoying as hell. I recommend trial runs so you can learn its patterns and predict its attacks accordingly.

headlocking with LS, DS, GS, and Hammer possible
using a hammer while attacking from his rear is easiest, but u can only break his horns by attacking it with a dragon element weapon

I find Light Bowguns with attack power of around 300 work pretty well. Just do a dodge-roll every time he turns to look at you and you should be golden, with plenty of opportunities to attack. Heavy bowguns make you too slow, and the arrows from bows lack firepower and tend to bounce off its fire aura more than shells from bowguns.
