It took nearly an hour to drive back to Basil's home. The teen had hailed one of those bright yellow cabs and ushered both Pizzicato and Epsilon into the back seat along with Molly. He took the front for himself so as to give directions to the drive and pay the man when they had reached their destination.
"All right you lot, pile out." Basil commanded, though his voice was warm and caring. Molly woofed happily and jumped out as Eppi followed. Basil stood, waiting for the boys on the first step of the porch. His country home loomed in the twilight of the sky, big and gorgeous. It sported enough rooms for everyone to have one of their own and then some. Basil always wondered why he had let himself be convinced into building something so large. Now he knew.
"Hurry up!" He called as Epsilon giggled, tugging on Pizzicato excitedly.
"Isn't it a nice house?" The star child asked of his friend. "The inside is even better!"

During the drive, Pizzi had managed to take a small nap, having fallen asleep in the car up against Molly. The star child had been exhausted from the events of the past few days, and was finally starting to recuperate from all the excitement.
When his comfy pillow moved, the boy woke up, and drowzilly got out of the cab, rubbing his eyes. Of course, when he looked up and saw the house, he was frozen in place. "IT'S HUGE...." He gasped, being a little louder than he would have liked.
He stumbled a bit when Epsilon tugged on him, but easily regained step as they went up to the steps. "It's amazing...I've never seen a place this big!" Pizzi realized his error quickly, "Well...A place that a person lives in this big..."

Epsilon giggled at the boy's reaction. "It's not THAT big." He blushed, as he lead Pizzicato up the porch steps. Basil and Molly had already disappeared inside. "But just wait until you see the inside!" The front door was open wide, revealing a tasteful interior along with the smell of something wonderful coming from the kitchen.
"Smells like Forney is just about done with dinner." Eppi added when they entered the foyer. There was a room to the immediate right and the door to the room was slightly open, showing off a grand study filled with books and an important looking desk. The dinning room on the left was big and open, sporting bay windows that let in the light outside.
However, Epsilon didn't explain any of it to Pizzi, instead, wanting to show the boy his room and where he would be staying. He made a beeline for the stairs. "Come see my room and then I'll introduce you to Forney at dinner." He said.

"It's bigger than Pia's apartment!" Pizzicato smiled, trying to convince his friend that the home was indeed, big. He peeked inside shyly, and gasped at how wonderful it was.
"It's amaaaazing!" Pizzi whispered happily, waving his arms. "It's grand! Fantastical! Superb!" He tried to use all the words he could to describe it, though he only ended up waving his arms around to help. "And it smells reaaaally good." He finished, blushing at his outburst.
"Who's...Forney?" He blinked, confused. Someone other than Basil and Eppi lived here? Really? However, he found himself distracted again when Epsilon ran off. "H-Hey wait up!" He whined, doing his best to keep up with the other star child.

Epsilon just smiled, sitting at the top of the stairs and he waited for Pizzi. He was so glad the boy liked his home! "Forney is..." He groped for words to explain to fiery redhead, "unique." Eppi said at last, reaching out his hand for Pizzicato to take.
"Don't worry about him, though he does cook great meals." He added. "'Kay?"

Pizzi frowned as he climbed the stairs slowly, giving Epsilon time to find his word. "Unique..." He repeated, taking his friend's hand. Was such a word truely hard to find? Or was it just one of those people where words were difficult. Perhaps he should be wary of this 'Forney' guy.
"So I'll get to eat my first meal here?" Pizzi brightened up, grinning. "That sounds wonderful!"

Eyes twinkling in amusement, Epsilon nodded with a smile. "Yes you will." He agreed before he showed Pizzicato down the hall to his bedroom. He pushing the door open to show a room that was furnished in blue tones, though it didn't look that well lived in. The bed was made neatly and there was a stuffed rabbit sitting by the pillows with a red ribbon around it's neck.
"I haven't really had time to do much with it." Basil explained sheepishly. "But the bed's soft." Across from his room was the music room and the door was cracked, just barely, offering a glimpse of a shiny black piano.

"I'm so excited." Pizzicato twinkled, fallowing his friend down the path, a jump in his step. He stepped into the room, looking all around. "It's nice!" He chirped.
"Soft beds are always good~." The star child nodded in agreement. Of course, something caught his eye as he turned, and the boy stepped out, peeking into the crack. "Piano~?"

Epsilon was just about to invite Pizzi to jump on the bed with him when the boy suddenly mentioned the piano. "Er...yeah." Eppi replied, breezing past Pizzi to push open the door to the music room. "It's the music room." He explained.
The room itself was spacious, the draps on the windows pulled back to let the light in. A grand piano stood in the corner as well as racks of sheet music shoved against the wall. There were a few instruments mounted on the wall for looks, but most were in the dark chestnut cabinet across the piano. There were a few chairs and music stands, but that was all.
"I don't think Basil has played the piano in a really long time." Epsilon added in a hushed tone as he motioned Pizzi into the room.

Pizzicato stared into it, eyes wide. "Amazing....Such a treasure..." He breathed, stepping inside. He touched the piano gently, looking at the instruments on the walls. "I want....To play." He murmured, and hoisted himself up onto the piano bench.
The boy gently opened up to the keys, looking over them carefully. "It's beautiful..." He whispered, almost as if in a trance. "Well loved....But...It...Needs more." He gently pressed a finger to a key, careful to be quiet.

Epsilon blinked in confusion as he watched Pizzi practically drool all over the piano. He couldn't help a little giggle as he wandered over as well. "I didn't know you played." He murmured, watching as Pizzicato tapped the piano key. "Basil won't mind if you play. He rarely comes up here anyways. The stairs makes it hard for him."

"I watched a lot of the composers when I was still up there." Pizzicato smiled proudly. "Mozart, Bach....It was amazing." He smiled, and began to play, though he had a little bit of trouble due to his size. The music floated through the air, filling the house.

Smiling softly, Epsilon stood by the piano and watched at Pizzi played. "They were...talented, to say the least." The child chuckled, always having been more interested in the historians and the painters than the musicians.

Pizzicato continued to play, a little more smoothly than before. "It's so weird actually playing...Though..." He laughed quietly, "My hands seem to be a little too small for this piano." The music ended, and he sighed happily. "Do the instruments on the walls....Play?"

Epsilon laughed at Pizzi's comment. "You'll just have to stretch out your hand muscles a bit." He grinned. "And no, they don't. Not really anyways. They're just for show. Now these," Eppi moved to the cabinets and opened them, revealing many different cases, "will play."
