 Or so she'd heard once. She didn't remember where, but it sounded like something a prey beast would say. Which is funny, because Hari didn't usually hear prey beast talk, but she supposed nothing was stopping them from doing it either. They just seemed to live in this mute, unsettling world. Maybe she'd just been resting under a bush and heard a pair of wildebeest merrily walk by and say it.
But she'd rather think it was some lion, because if she started thinking of prey as happy creatures that walked on their merry way, chatting about, she might have to stop eating them. And she did love some nice wildebeest.
But still, she supposed there may be some merit to the idea, and she eyed a very pretty green patch of grass before her. They seemed to enjoy this stuff quite a lot. Maybe she should try it.

Ewwwww, gross! Disgusted, Hari leapt back and spat out the grass. "What do you mean, good for you?! " She yelped. "That's disgusting, ewww! "

Hakima had a rough life till he reached these lands and now things seemed perfect and everyone seemed normal. At least they did till today. He had been wandering like you do, letting one paw step in front of the other and so on when he spotted a lioness eating grass... she was eating grass.
"Grass generally doesn't taste good..." He laughed as she started talking to herself. Unless there was someone about he couldn't see? He took a quick look but saw no one.
"Who told you grass was good for you? It's good for making you sick if nothing else." This wasn't normal Hakima behaviour, normally he would be all polite and gentleman like but she had thrown him completely. It's not every day that you get to see a lioness eating grass!

Ooh. Ooh boy, Hari. There you go again, looking dumb in front of random people. Why couldn't everyone just show up when she was being normal? "Clearly. " She mumbled, still spitting out some grass and trying to get it out of her teeth. Ewewweee.
"I dunno! I just.. heard it once. " She frowned, looking at the new lion. And he was green. Now ain't that just a funny coincidence? "I dunno where, it's just... I was thinking and remembered hearing something about green stuff being good for you! So I thought I'd try it out! " Yes, doing a great job as sounding less crazy.
"Uhh... anyway, I know better now! "

"It seems whoever told you was somewhat mistaken." He chuckled a little watching her expressions. She was an interesting thing it seemed.
"Whats your name? I am Hakima, from the Shadow clan." Introductions were always a good start. He assumed she wasn't in the same clan as he was as he couldn't recall seeing her about. He did often wander from the clan to go on walks but he wasn't one to really socialize as much as maybe he should. Maybe this was a start? Talking to someone new.

"Yes. Or it was a dirty trick from the start. " She said grimly, accusing whomever it had been that had said such a thing about "green things"! Well, okay, maybe it hadn't been on purpose. But still. She sighed, resolving to forget the matter entirely.
"I'm Hari, from the Bird clan. Well, now I am, anyways. It's nice to meet you! " Hari often felt weird saying the last part, because it was usually said before you were completely sure you liked a new person, but at least right now this Hakima guy seemed neat enough.

Hakima nodded, "Maybe they didn't expect you to try and eat grass?" It was a possibility after all wasn't it? Then again he wasn't sure why anyone would want to say it.
"It's nice to meet you Hari, are you new here to then?" He assumed so as she said the 'well I am now' bit and he assumed that meant she had arrived with the rest of them or maybe before or later. That or she moved clan though was it possible to move clans? He wasn't sure.

She considered this for a few moments, before tilting her head with slight frown. "But then that would be trickery too. It would be a little mean, telling someone to eat something that doesn't actually taste good. " She hesitated a bit. "Or, w might have just had differing opinions! " She came to this conclusion, happy at her own "maturity" in solving this problem.
"It's nice to meet you too. Yeah, I'm pretty new. " Well, older than that large group of rogues that joined recently, but still comparatively new to native members. But that was fine. It didn't matter how long she'd been here, she was just happy to be here! "You are too, right? "

Hakima just nodded at her decision. She had a point that was for sure, unless of course who ever had told her was a rabbit or something, in which case grass probably was rather tasty to them but he didn't mention that. She seemed to have made a decision and so let it be.
"Yes I joined at the celebration. Is nice to find somewhere to call home." He smiled as he spoke and watched her movements, she seemed so young but maybe that was just how she acted? It was rather sweet though, she had that liveliness about her that you saw in young cubs.
"How have you found the pride since joining?" He was curious, he assumed she would like it, after all she is still here isn't she? Then again it was more then possible some found it harder to settle then others.

Celebration, okay. She nodded, that meant she had been here a bit longer. She was briefly amused at how this somehow made her feel old and experienced in comparison, but that was of course just silly. Being here longer didn't really mean much. "I love it here!" She beamed, sitting back on her haunches and looking up at the male.
"I was a rogue my whole life, and I didn't expect I'd like having a pride so much!" She nodded happily, curling her tail over her paws. "Where are you from?"

He smiled at what she said, he could relate. He didn't realise home could be so amazing. Somewhere to live and to love and others to help you out.
"I know what you mean." He smiled as he spoke and then thought about her next question.
"I don't really come from anywhere. I just roamed I guess, looking for something I guess I found here." Okay it sounded silly now he had said it out loud but it was true, he had found home here and it was all he could ask for and more. He loved it here.

She grinned. She kind of knew what he meant. It was funny how all your life you could be looking for something and not really known, or how much you had wanted it. "I get that." She sounded so poetic, didn't she? "Hey, so, Mr. Hakima. Maybe I should be doing useful things." Doing useful things is usually smiled upon. Hari loved being smiled upon!
"You're from shadow clan, right?" She tilted her head. Maybe she could see him later. And they could play tag. If he was into kid games. "Maybe I'll see you again next month! Or if our clans end up close together."

Hakima nodded and then smiled at her.
"Yes I should probably be doing something useful as well." He flicked his tail behind him. He looked at her again when she mentioned his clan and nodded.
"It would be nice to see you again." He smiled and nodded, he would keep an eye out for her. For now she was right they had things to be doing and so after saying goodbye he turned and left, heading home.
