It had snowed last night, one of those thick snows that coated the world in whiteness, and today was one of those days where the sun reflected brilliantly and painfully off the snow. Parvati couldn't remember the last time she'd seen snow this deep and a day this bright when she'd visited the mountains of her homeland as a filly.
Pawing through the snow, she found it pliable enough to walk through, though it came up to her knees and she had to toss her long mane up and across her back to keep it up and out of the way. It was only a little cold, which startled and delighted her as much as the beauty of the scenery. She squinted a bit to be careful of the reflection of the sun's warm rays off the snow, but smiled, too. Today promised to be quite a good day...she just needed to figure out what she wanted to do with her day.

I stood before this vast open snowy field, Snort ripped through my nares and into the open creating a hot steamy mess all over my face. The smoke emitted from my body slowly cleared from before me as the icy chill came back to my face. My golden hues danced across the scenery. I loved being so alone. Pistons pawed at the powder beneath my massive frame, shoveling it into the air and onto my back.
I sat back on my haunches, letting my pistons touch the sky, sank back down and tore off into the snow. Oh boy Oh boy Oh boy! Snow. But the fun only last for a few seconds. Pfft, I do what I want. Muscles strained to keep my legs churning through this powder than soaked through my pelt at my knees. I stumbled a bit, keeping my head out from the bitter chill of the snow, I finally looked up and saw a mare before me.
I slid to a halt, prancing a bit of a ways before her, Slowly I shall make my way to her. Smirk laid upon my mug as I arched my neck, pressing my kissers to my chest to show off my pretty little colorings. I nickered to her, just to see if she would accept this beast to come and have a little chat.
"Good day."

I watched the striking stallion gallop in her direction and skid into a prancing halt. I couldn't help but smile at the spirited gesture of sorts and dipped my head, closing my sapphire eyes, in greeting. I arched my neck as I lifted my head, intending to greet him as spiritedly as he'd greeted me, and a passing breeze tossed my long mane that started out black but brightened to red at the tips so that it flowed like a banner across the brilliant turquoise sky.
"Good day," I responded in my soft voice. I wondered mildly how the sun was striking my horn and wanted to giggle like a filly who has been impressed by a particularly flirtatious colt. I was definitely acting a little childish, but today, when the world was so filled with wonder that one often felt in childhood, was a good day to act like a foal and get into a bit of mischief. "Are you out for a morning run?"

I exhaled sharply from my exerted run, the steam warmed up my features and gave me a little bit on contentment. Golden hues looked the mare over as she had indeed invited myself to a little chat. She's a pretty little thing that kinda melts into the snow, as her pelt matches it so. Smirk was still plastered on my face as I began to move closer to this female.
I halted before her, looking over her yet again, she was different than that which I have seen. A spiral horn in her head, a whole different story of a tail. This is all very new to me, very interesting. Glad this run has given me something to do. I tilted my head to the side to take it all in, She had questions, I have answers, and with that, I spoke.
"Why yes I was Pretty lady." I paused, curious for more. "What were you out doing on this fine lovely day?" Now, to wait.

This was someone who enjoyed life, and I rather liked being around those sorts some days, especially on days like this one. The warm air from his nostrils were smoky in the frosty air and made me want to get closer to him, if only because he was warm and it was cold. I was not a fan of winter.
"I was out for a stroll and thought it would be nice to have some fun in the snow, or do something to get warm." I smiled at him and his delightfully incurably infectiously warm personality. "One ought to do something warm and fun when it is cold."

I had let my mind wander before being snapped back into place by this mare. Still didn't know her pretty little name, My muscles screamed to keep running but, I shall wait. I musn't be rude on such a lovely day. Whipchords lashed across my flank, to ease the pressure that I was feeling to keep running for a few more moments. The Tiny beads laced throughout my tail smashed together and made such a minuet chime in the wind, calming, charming, a sense to what will come.
Oh a stroll are you darling? May I have this one with you? I smiled, casually, taking in the crisp, cool air. "Oh how delightful! Care if I join you miss?" I paused again. " My name's Poultry, Sorry to be so rude, sometimes I just cant help myself." Smirk.

I smiled at the soft chime of the beads in my tail and laughed warmly at his offer. "You would be more than welcome, Poultry. I did not think you rude at all, I just presumed that you would introduce yourself when the time came. My name is Parvati." Actually, I was prancing a bit in excitement to be moving and warming myself up by this energetic and spirited stallion. Excitement and doing the excitement seemed to be part of his dharma, and it was rather nice to be around such as Poultry from time to time. Like right now.
((Dharma = sacred personal duty; basically, in Hinduism, it's your sacred duty to follow your heart. 8D))
