Kagiso let out an overly loud yawn as he looked around him in the hot sun of the day. He had found himself board once more in his prides lands and decided to to a bit of roaming that morning, but it was far to hot to do any serious traveling now. He'd made it back to the rouge lands, where no one animal had claim over the grassy lands, it was just there for the roamers and nomads of the land. He often traveled here when he was board or in need of a good stretch to his legs. It was also an excellent spot for sighting in rouge ladies, and everyone knew he had a weakness for females.
He looked out of the grass but there wasn't a whole lot to be seen. Most animals were hidden in any spot of shade they could find as he had done and were just waiting for the temperature to begin to become bearable once more. Maybe then someone or something would come along and strike his fancy. Until then he really didn't mind just taking a moment to be lazy in the sun.

Birds chirping awoke Raimi from his rest filled night, giving a stretch and a loud moaning yawn he got up to give a full body shake. 'Keh, mornings I could do without,' his inner thoughts interrupted by another yawn and his stomach growling. His wall-side cave was beginning to warm up as the cool winds of night diminshed into warm winds from the sun, light flickering inside as well.
He stuck his nose in the air, trying to check any hint of prey in the air. He had gone to sleep without dinner afterall. It seemed prey was getting far and few in his homeland. Raimi made his way out of his somewhat new-ish home and raised his head to the sun as if to say hello.

Kagiso let out another loud yawn as if to alert the world to his presence. It was a male habit of his. He liked to hear his own roar and let others know he was alive. Soon he forced himself to get up and stretch his muscles slightly and took a good look around him. The only animals that were really moving around where the lighter pawed creatures that could move quickly in the heat. His large bulk made this time of day hot and extremely uncomfortable.
But he did so anyway and lifted his large head into the breeze to take in the smells of the earth. One such scent happened to catch his attention and he let out a low growl of recognition. It was certainly a canine smell. Though he had no quarrel with the canines, they were often quiet troublesome. One always had to watch their meal when a canine was around or the moment you turned your back it would be gone.

Raimi had been minding his own business enjoying the exploring of his new home, walking farther and farther away from his den to see what his new place had to offer. His discoveries were interrupted a low lethal growling not far from his current spot. Freezing, head down, fur bristling, and ears down Raimi waited in silence to see if the creature would come out. Feline by the smell of things. After sometime, said creature didn't come out Raimi snorted, ' Lazy cats,' He thought to himself and with a shake of his head he decided it was better to leaving then stick around.
One more look behind indicated no movement and with that Raimi was gone.
