Any PokeFan has bookmarked this Bulbapedia at some point in their PokeCareer. True story.

Ahem! I found my Red/Blue versions and started glitching them up because, quite frankly, it's fun.

Remember when you were about in the first or second grade? A rumor somehow got around that there was a pixelated being in the original Red/Blue games called Missingno.? Do you remember trying to catch the damn thing, doing everything possible to get it?

Or do you remember saving inside the Safari Zone and doing everything to activate Glitch City?

I remember trying every one of these glitches.

So. Let's discuss our favorite glitches! The link above lists them all. >.<

I did the mew one for a while as well as the quick 100 or what my nerdy friends dub the Q100. I wish I had all those mews now. I would be able to get any and all Pokemon. Such is life I suppose. Also wish I had those games still. My stupid brothers sold them for drugs and other stuff.

In the Gold and Silver version, the mere act of hearing Machop's cry and immediately using the Coin Case triggers Glitch Dimension. However, when I followed the same steps while in Glitch Dimension, the game froze and a high-pitch ring sounded,

Someone else should try this. And no, it has yet to mess up anything significant in the game.

I remember MisingNo.
He was amazing, defeated him made your 6th bag slot have infinate of that item, Hello masterballs and rare candies.

I cought him once though, he can learn just about every move.
I tought him surf, fly, rocksmash, and cut (he was my HM dummy)
it was level 1 so i wanted to level him up
at level 2
he evolved
into Kangaskahn
I had a flying, Surfing kangaskahn
it was awesome....

Aha, I remember mine knowing Sky Attack, Water Gun, and Water Gun. Then it evolved into Kangaskahn! That's what completed my pokemon experience.

Hmm the glitches allowed one to trandcend the parameters of the game for sure

as for the infintie item one

that explains a bucket load

one 'friend'd i ha, who later wund out a fat jerk, had blue version and said he'd enter a button cmbo to get infinite Full Restores so i asked him t do the same with my pokeballs, but he flattly refused, saying(his words) "i dont want anyone having more pokemon than me"

anyhow, that gltichmade me upset so i imdeiately stopped until G/S hit theus, then at christmass of that year i got both my gold and silver and began playing them

well i traded gold to this guy for emerald, but said 'if ever you're needing to sell gold i'll pay up' he sold it to gamestop for roughly 5 bucks of credits whereas i coulda given him 20 bucks hard cash for it

anyhow the gltiches came off on me as dirty playing, but yeah a surf flying kangaskhan would been awesome in those versions

I Don't really like using glitches or action replays , the only reason i use them is probably just for fun to see what would happen , otherwise i don't even think about em' , on this note , my friends crowd over me and are trying to battle meh Dx , With there "Actionreplayed Pokemon" which they already know they can beat me ... thats just mean!!

Actually, quite a few glitches can be triggered without cheat devices like ActionReplay. The Mew Glitch, for one, can be done without such means as well as Missingno. in the earlier games. However, as time progressed, programmers took out such methods in subsequent games so that it was necessary for ACtionReplay to be used to trigger most glitches such as Missingno. Sad face.

I'm more a fan of the glitches you can trigger without GameShark or ActionReplay. So Missingno. and such in the original PokeMon games--yeah... biggrin
