It is not random who will win the prizes, though it may seem that way until someone can figure out the mystery equation that calculates the winning posts. ninja
So anyway, I have created a mathematical equation that will calculate the winning post numbers. I won't tell you what the equation is, that is for you to figure out. mrgreen
The mathematical equation to determine your prize is as follows:
Per equation: 5000 gold for the 1st winning post
50% of the previous Winners amount for each additional winner. (EG. 2nd winner gets 2500 gold, 3rd winner gets 1250 gold, 4th winner gets 625 gold and so on.
The first person to solve the mathematical equation that calculates which posts will win will receive 5000 gold prize. If we get good feedback for this contest, we may continue on to another round of the game with a new, different equation perhaps with the same prize or perhaps a different prize yet to be determined at my discretion.
Your equation should look something like this:
next winning post # = (some numbers)(some signs +-x÷)(PREVIOUS WINNING POST NUMBER) (it is possible I may use powers of numbers or roots of numbers in equations, but I might not)
The Previous Winning Post Number will ALWAYS effect the Next Winning Post Number. It is important to keep that in mind. When no one has won yet, the previous winning post number is = to zero (0)
Here is a sample of what an equation could look like:
Next winning post # = (Previous Winning Post Number + 10) x 2
With this sample equation, the winning post numbers would be:
1st number = 20
2nd number = 60
3rd number = 140
4th number = 300
5th number = 620
6th number = 1260

NEW!!!: If winning posts become 1 integer or less between winners, prizes for that equation will cease for that equation at 1st occurrence of this.
New!!! Once we get the 10th winning number, the equation will expire one week after the 10th winning number is posted. In that week new winning numbers can still win prizes. If no one can solve the equation within the week, I will reveal the equation and we will move on to a new round.
