Xabres had been practicing porting alot lately and he was starting to slowly improve. Still the boy had alot to work on. Namely actually going to where he wanted. Yeah, now he could port and not be in the same spot but getting to where he actually wanted to be was a challenge.
Still, it was an improvement which gave the boy some hope. One day he'd have his powers down pat and his sister would taste his wrath.
Oh yes revenge would be sweeter then any ice cream cone. He could practically hear his sisters cries for help as he practiced. Sweet sweet cries for help.
After all Xabres was still one of Xemnas's kids as much as he was Xiggy's. The brat was a brat after all and his motives for practice were very dark. Simple but dark.

 A rare peaceful moment, or at least rare since those damned puppies had started running around (damn he'd really liked them better when they were just headphones). Xigbar had seized on the opportunity, making himself a sandwich and then settling his a** on the couch in the gray room right in front of that nice new big screen tv.
Of course it was just his luck that there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON TV! He finally had some time to himself and of course there was nothing to watch, and no matter how many times he flipped through the channels he still found nothing. Figures.
Flicking through the channels, tail twitching, he sat waiting for the inevitable horror that would descend on him.
Snort, he should have gone to Traverse Town.

Horror did rain down on him with one last port attempt from a certain puppy named Xabres. He landed smack in Xigbars lap.
"Oophhhhh..." He grunted. Crap. Crap crap crap crap crap. This was not where he wanted to be. The puppy hadn't realized he was in Xigbars lap yet so he laid there silently cursing for a good five minutes before slowly getting up. A pair of legs was all he saw at first, slowly it registered in his brain as the pup slowly craned his neck upwards. The next thing he saw was a turso, and then some hair and finally a face.
Xigbar.
"Uhh.." He stared up at the figure. Xigbar wasn't scary like Xemnas, but Xabres had a lump in his throat all the same.

WHAT THE HELL?! ARGGG, THEY WERE DROPPING ON HIM FROM THE CEILING!!!
Or something like that. So much for time to himself...heh, not like there was anything on tv anyways. So he sat there, watching the pup, fingers drumming on the arm of the couch. He supposed it could have been worse, at least this pup wasn't trying to bite him and it wasn't the pup of PURE EVIL.
"Something I can help you with, kid?"
Not that the sniper was angry, well...no more than he usually was.

"Ehhh.. heh.." Xabres kinda just laid there for a small while looking dumbfounded as he smiled awkwardly. Xigbar didn't look super pissed off that he had just dropped in on him, literally. Thank god he hadn't been on the toilet , other wise this would be more awkward.
"No unless you can help me port." Xabres shook his head and sighed. It wasn't really a taught skill and he knew that.
A yummy scent caught the pups nose, shifting the pups attention to the sandwich that Xiggy possessed. Xabres eyed it.

Hey, was the pup even listening to him? What the hell? Oh no, no, definitely not, that is MY sandwich so you can just stop looking at it! NO, IT'S MINE! Stop that, don't you dare give me that look! NO NO NO!

Fine...
A sigh, Xigbar tore the sandwich in half, and offered it to the pup.
"Here..."
Damn fuzzballs of evil.

The pup wagged his tail and chomped the sandwich down faster then one could blink. Food, the best way to an evil puppies heart. He wagged his tail and greedily eyed the other half.
He was a puppy after all, and there for loved food.
Little whimpers followed.

Xigbar had barely managed to take a bite of his half of the sandwich before the little fuzzball had devoured his. ********, you'd think he never feed them!
"Don't push your luck, kid."
This was his sandwich damn it, HIS LUNCH! And he was going to eat it damn it! Sit there and look cute all you want, but this is mine. He took another bite of the sandwich, eyeing the too-damned-cute whining puppy. Sigh, he had always had a soft spot for cute.
In the end he only took one more bite before handing what remained of the sandwich over to the little fuzzball. Damn it.

Xabres accepted the remains and devoured them instantly, tail wagging and all. He had all but forgotten his original intents of being here by now and was just satisfied with the warm spot on Xigbars lap. Xabres curled happily, cooing after being well fed.
Thats right, this was his spot now.
He lazily lifted his head up at xiggy and eyed him expectantly as if another sandwich was hidden behind him or something. The pup rested his head between his paws after deciding that the second sandwich simply was never there.
Xiggy wasn't getting rid of the pup unless he physically picked him up and locked him some where else. Even then, he likely wasnt getting rid of the pup.

Xigbar snorted, chin resting on one hand which was in turn supported by his elbow on the arm of the chair. What had he ever done to deserve this? Damn it! He hated puppies and he HATED Xemnas for dumping them on him!
Sigh, well at least the puppy wasn't biting him. So he let the pup stay there as he flipped through the channels, still nothing on tv. Finally he lifted a hand, idly scratching behind the pup's ear.
Well okay, maybe this wasn't so bad after all.

The pups tail wagged side to side from the scratching. Oh this was the life. You could count on it that he'd be back in here more often. Xiggy was a good guy.
Unlike that douche Xemnas.
But I digress. But seriously, Xemnas is a douche, if douches are evil. Which I m sure they are.
Xebres flopped on his back side exposing his belly for Xiggy to pet as thoughts of how much of a douche Xemnas was carried on his mind. Seriously, that guys a douche.

Xigbar would have definitely agreed that Xemnas was a douche...though he wouldn't have put it so nicely. There would have been much more swearing and growling involved...and perhaps slaughtering of the poor innocent dusks hiding under the castle, that or pixelated monsters, either worked.
Oh come on kid, gimme a break...
And yet he found himself scratching the pup's belly anyways. You had so better not get used to this, kid.
He shifted in his seat, making himself more comfortable, his feet propped up on the table in front of the couch. Oh look, cartoons, knock yourself out, kid.

Oh the belly scratching! Xabres was pleased, oh so pleased. His little back paw kicked every so often. This was heaven.
AND LOOK CARTOONS! Xabres let his heand hang off Xiggies lap some so he could see better. The only problem was that everything was all upside down.
Xabres didnt care. Bright colors and silly sounds and belly rubs, heaven. The only thing better would be maybe if he got taken to a carnival or something.

Oh god, that pup was never going to leave his lap was he. He was going to wake up in the middle of the night and HE WOULD BE THERE! Maybe he should get the kid a teddy bear or something.
Well he supposed there were worse fates.
He dropped the remote onto the table, leaning back into the couch. Well it was comfy here at least, and his lap was nice and warm.
A carnival? Oh that was so not going to happen, at least not until the pup was older. That was the -last- thing he needed, trying to keep track of a hyperactive porting pup who would no doubt be high on a sugar rush and sensory overload. No thank you.
But a nap right here with a pup on his lap, he could live with that.

Nope Xiggy was never getting rid of the puppy when he gave such amazing belly rubs. It would seem that Xabres was hooked. First the icecream then the sandwich now belly rubs and cartoons? Yeah Xiggy was stuck with the little fail porter.
He watched the cartoons silently , amazed , but when commercials flicked on the trance was broken. Xabres rolled onto his side and stared up at Xiggy and whined.
"Make the commercials die.." He pouted.
