I always save Kaidan. Ashley's cool and all, but I can just never bring myself to save her over Kaidan. xDD

I saved Ashley on the first play through, but i'm on my second play so i'm going to save Kaiden

I usually save Alenko when I play as a female but Ashley when a female?
I mean, I don't bang blue stuff for fanservice. lol
And Alenko is too mixed up to be useful...He never makes my squad...
He's like that damn rogue you bring along to open chests and remove traps and unlock locks...
that can be nice in a 4 players party, but in a 3 players party?
Bleh.

LOL i always have alenko on my team, he's the only teammate I've had besides garrus that has been consistently useful.

It's always a Wrex/Kaidan setup with me. (so, would their equivalents [class wise] in Mass Effect 2 be Thane & Miranda?)

I've saved Kaiden 4 times and twice I saved Ashley. It was like a turn in a book or something. Shepard sacrifices her guy for some punk lady. lol
I did that with my evil file but then I felt I wanted Kaiden alive for ME2 so I had to go through the game again and save him. ^_^
I change my teammates depending on what class I'm in. I like the Garrus/Ashley team. If you want things done get those guys on your team.

Ashley is my fav of the 2...
Kaidan don't "go along oh so well" like everyone says with aliens...he jut don't interact much with hem...
Ashley is part of a generation that just met the other races, she is military...
Most of her concerns are about military secrets, which is something I can understand (Dunno what jobs you do kids, but with mine, I know what it is like)
She represents more what I think we would react like as humans...
She is dealing with the unknown, dealing with military, never was with some of them and she foresee the obvious clash between mankind and the rest...
As for the bible preaching part, yeah, shove that up her a**...lol
But like I said, saved my romance usually...I don't do blue stuff made for nerds that will jack off on some blue polygons for fanservice. lol

I saved Kaidan twice and saved Ashely everytime after. Kaidan is more of a jerk when I saved him and imported him into my mass effect 2.
