Nintendo.com has announced Netflix for Wii

Pretty awesome. You get a disc in the mail to put into your Wii, and then you can load videos to it from Netflix. I hope that it's more than the ones you can watch on your computer at home, but either way this is pretty cool. My family and my girlfriend are both Netflix users and we have three Wii consoles between us.

More Info Not sure how you get it. But it appears that rather than no late fees, you just get to watch what's available whenever. Guess we're just going to have wait until it's released to know what's available. So basically it's just the streaming service... I think...

You have to have a Netflix account. From their website you request a Wii disc, which they send in the mail to you. You put that into your Wii and can stream video from the internet.

I believe this is a great idea that would benefit many Netflix users that own Wiis. I'm glad the Wii has finally gotten this service
