Alexeial yawned as he simply pranced along. Anat had vanished off to do something stating he was old enough to take care of himself and Sesha... well Sesha never wanted to go anywhere. So he was on his own. He had so far gone to four different places and found each of them entertaining for awhile. Up until the point someone had shied away from him or a kit had skittered away in fear. He hadn't found it so fun after that. Now he was simply walking along the river bank making sure not to look at his reflection. He looked up at the sky. He could be flying now, but... that just made him look even more like a monster. A giant flying monster coming in to sweep the small ones away and eat them. He shuddered at the thought. He would never harm anyone least of all a small innocent kit. It just made him feel like such a horrid thing. He sort of wished Ti or Ori was out. Then he would at least have someone to talk to and spend time with. But then he should be thankful for the time he had. After all the family disaster that had happened not too long ago still weighed heavily on his mind. He needed to lighten up and have some fun he decided. So he tried to brighten his spirits by chasing a butterfly and prancing around in the shallow waters. Nothing seemed to truly help however and he eventually wound up lying along the bank of the river staring sadly down at his reflection. If people could just get past the way he looked he was a really nice person. Or at least he thought so.

Today, Rosalyn was outside, which was a peculiarity for her. She always liked to keep her fur and feathers clean, and being outside wasn't going to help that at all. But she felt like having some fresh air and being alone for a while. It got so stuffy in the shop sometimes...
Here was a nice little river to relax by. She never seen it before, then again she didn't go out too often so how would she?
Rosalyn glanced around once she was by the river bank and noticed a sad looking noodle staring into the water. She didn't expect anyone here, but she wasn't going to not welcome the company.
"Oh hello..." She said, approaching him. She admitted, the appearances did startle her at first but she had seen worse.

Alexeial almost fell into the water at the sound of someone's voice. He snapped his head around and lowered his head gently. "Hello, I didn't mean to be in your way." He stated laying his ears flat against his head. He looked her up and down. She was very colorful and she has many many feathers. She was very pretty and not at all a monster like he.
"I will leave if you like." He stated knowing well that his appearance startled people more often then not and even the most understanding of foxes were sometimes unnerved by his looks. He sat up fully and looked at her with gentle green eyes.

"What? Oh no, stay if you want. If it's anyone that should leave it would be me." Rosalyn dipped her head a bit in a polite nod. "After all, I'm the one intruding in your... brooding?"
She wasn't quite sure what he was doing. He was staring into the river looking sad, so that could possibly count as brooding. But about what? The only thing she could think of is about his appearances. They were... out of the norm. Even though Rosalyn found them quite attractive in a way.

Alexeial stopped for a moment in amazment. Had he been brooding? Oh dear, he must seem like the terrible sort to her. What with the way he had been acting. Moping about like he was. He pulled a smile onto his face and shook his head. "No no, its quite alright. I wouldn't mind the company if you don't mind of course. It is a lovely day out." He indicated the river and the sky above them.
"My name is Alexeial, but everyone calls me Lexi. What may I ask is yours?" He asked his voice trying to be polite and lighthearted all at the same time. It would never do for him to get all depressed and mopey about everything. He needed to smile and keep a postive outlook on life. That was much better then being like his sister who was down right hopeless.

"Oh. Thank you." Rosalyn was relieved that she wasn't being rude. Just showing up randomly and all. She trotted over towards the noodle and sat down next to him.
"My name is Rosalyn." She replied. She was glad to see that Lexi was looking a bit happier now... if it was because of her or something else, it didn't matter. "Do you come here often?"

"That is a very pretty name." He stated as he let his eyes drift back to the water. He shrugged lightly. "Normally no. I don't much leave the shop or my home. People don't find my presence as delightful as they do others. That being the case I stay inside most of the time. With my family or the few friends I have." He said his voice light despite the depressing topic.
"What about you Rosalyn? Do you come here often. I don't believe I have ever seen you around."

Rosalyn shook her head no, absorbing what she just heard from Alex. "I don't venture outside much... I mostly stay in the shop, or at home. Mostly at home though..."
She didn't have that much of a reason for staying indoors. Rosalyn got jeered at for her appearances sometimes, or sometimes she just found it hard to strike up a conversation. But she couldn't imagine what he must feel like, if he would be considered more 'freakish' than herself.
"What's your family like?" She changed the subject, reaching for a more pleasant topic.
