Greetings. You have just stepped into a brand new world, a violent realm where only the strong survive. Pay careful attention, and you may yet be able to die of old age...1. Your power is called 'Atma'. By now, you will have seen the Atma Brand somewhere on your body; that is the proof of who and what you are. By calling upon its power, you can summon your Atma Avatar, the spirit inside of you, to do combat. Even new members gain great additional power by transforming, though there is often a weak spot to the transformed body. However, we are dedicated to fighting these very types of powers; we control them, not the other way around. If you let your power control you, then you will be hunted down the same as any others will. ((The power boost from transforming is approximately 1 Tier up)) 1b. Some Atma Avatars have the capabilities of flight or movement through water or ground. Those closest to human in shape rarely have these attributes, however. 2. Embryon members start out with only their First Mantra unlocked. You will have to accomplish a worthy deed, such as capturing a criminal, in order for Lord Balmung (or his designated representative/replacement) to unlock the next stage of your power. 2b. Even with the Mantra unlocked, however, you will have to spend time in combat to be able to use the new skills. ((5 posts per-skill)) 3. Atma Avatars have limitations, however. While they have quite a few powers, they can only access twelve (12) of them at any given time, and it takes patience and a bit of time to change them... thus, it is impossible to change your skills in the middle of battle. Choose carefully before you begin combat, or you *will* die. 3b. We are not joking. Those of you who are weak, stupid, or even just unlucky will die. Fate will not protect you.Quote: Endrance's Note: Seriously. This is no joke. Unlike any other class, Embryon Members can be killed without your consent. That means you must be smart with your character when you play them. Knowing when to fight, when to run...these things will not only be critical in raising your rank and power in the group, but also to staying alive. Those of you who do manage to stay alive, however, can wear your Embryon Rank as a true badge of honor...proof of your skill and cunning as an RP'er. 4. The greatest warriors, who have survived against all odds, will find the use of two special Atma Skills. Unlike the other powers of your Atma Avatar, these are inherent to your transformation, and you will naturally be able to access them in that form; they are not bound by the usual restriction of twelve (12) skills. However, they draw a lot of power from you, and so you can use each one you know only once per-battle.5. Warriors who have unlocked the Fourth Mantra will be able to call upon the power of their Atma Avatar even in normal form; you will not be able to use your skills directly, but you can channel the power into your weapon, to boost its strength or even give you elemental attacks. Only Offensive skills seem to work with this, though, but it can be a powerful surprise in some instances.

Preliminary Dossier Prepared by Senior Chief Petty Officer Reina Udonge Sunday, April 29, 2012 Provided to: Lord General Balmung and all Embryon Captains
The following individuals have been determined to be deeply involved in the events currently happening in Inaba. They should all be considered armed and dangerous; do not have your subordinates face them alone, as most of them are thought to be at least at the level of an Embryon Captain, if not higher. Additionally, there are at least two enemy groups active in the area, believed to be acting seperately, as well as a group that is not an enemy but is best avoided.
'Ex-Strega'
Overview: Originally operating out of Tatsumi Port Island, the group 'Strega' was primarily a cult following an entity named Nyx (details about this entity are scarce at best; it is being looked into). Its highest members, however, appear to wield an unusually large amount of power. It is unknown exactly what name they are currently operating under. Known members in the area are:
Takaya Sakaki: Age unconfirmed. Motives unknown, but probably not good. Reported as being extremely powerful; how powerful, exactly, is unknown, but it's probably safe to say that only the Lord General could match him, and it wouldn't be bad if he had backup from the Captains just in case. This man should not be approached without explicit orders from the Lord General. Details on what happened at Tatsumi Port Island are sketchy at best, but the trustworthy ones do imply that he should never be taken lightly. Is often shirtless; reason unknown.
Chidori Yoshino: 19 years old. Nearly died during the events on Tatsumi Port Island, according to hospital records. Possesses some unusual abilities, including a powerful jamming ability that makes it vastly more difficult to detect spiritual energies in the usual methods. Frequently dresses in white "Gothic Lolita" clothing, making her very easy to spot. She needs to be captured and her powers nullified before any serious offensive against this group can be done; ambush is the best tactic, preferably when she's alone, to take her quickly and quietly, ideally without alerting her companions to where she is being held.
Elke Shula: 22 years old. Known rapist and murderer. Presumed psychotic, but very good at what he does. Background mostly unknown, except that he is *very* wanted. Avoid telling the Media that he is in the area, as it is likely to start a panic if they realize who they're dealing with. Any dead females found in alleyways recently (or in the near future) are probably his work. A priority target, but powerful; the Lord General and Captain Ria are the only ones who are likely able to face him alone.
Malka Devorah: 23 years old. Ex-military. Uses a large hammer in combat, and is confirmed as having supernatural powers. Seems to be concerned mainly with following orders. Strong, but not as much so as many of the other members of this group; attempt to take him down before a major offensive to reduce their battle capacity.
'Caesar's Gym Incident'
Overview: A recent attack against Inaba (and a primary reason for our presence here) is reported as having begun at Caesar's Gym, where a man named 'Raiden' began an attack during a tournament. Sections of Inaba were burned down in the violence that followed. The name and numbers of this group are currently unknown, but members believed to be involved are:
Hetero: True identity unknown. True age unknown. Appears to be interested in some form of genocide against Inaba. Thought to be extremely dangerous. Do not approach without specific orders to do so.
Raiden: True identity unknown. True age unknown. The primary attacker of Caesar's Gym; robotic sounds have been reported, suggesting he is likely to be an android, a cyborg, or at least using machine enhancements. Weaponry meant to disrupt machinery (i.e. explosives) may be more effective on him than guns or Atma powers. Apparently quite powerful, so those below the rank of Lieutenant should not even be sent against him in the first place, and even then, they should be sent in a group. Better too much force than too little against such individuals.
Kazuma Koroko: 18 years old. Junior at Inaba's Yasogami High School. Born and raised in Inaba; reported as protective of his sister. Practices martial arts; reported as being part of Hetero and Raiden's group now, but is significantly weaker than they are. A team of Ensigns can probably take him. If captured, he should be a good source of information about what is going on in Inaba, and as a result, he should be considered a priority target for now.
Yatagarasu
Overview: Ultra-nationalist organization. Something of a rival to the Embryon; remember that the lower-ranked members of your group may not be familiar with the Crows, and may believe that the Yatagarasu's agents should be caught as we catch criminals. Please remind them that they should explicitly avoid contact with any known agent of the Yatagarasu. We are not enemies, but we are not friends, either, and the Yatagarasu is both territorial and extremely powerful. Raidou Kuzunoha, their most capable agent, is confirmed to be operating in Inaba, and while young, she can hold her own against any Captain and then some; not only is she strong herself, but as a Devil Summoner, she can conjure up very powerful allies (including deities), which means that she is never fighting alone. Ambushing her is nearly impossible due to the presence of the spirits she can call, which are frequently on watch. Lieutenants and below have no chance whatsoever against her. Avoid antagonizing her; we can't afford the damage an attack by the Yatagarasu will bring, and even this one agent would wreak havoc. If we leave the Crows alone, they should leave us alone.
Captain Ria has reported that certain empowered individuals in Inaba seem to be under the Yatagarasu's protection. Unfortunately, this means that if we accidentally capture or kill the wrong person, there will be a small war, and it's likely most people in the base (including your favorite Secretary!) will die. If you are unsure as to whether or not a potential target is actually a target, confirm with HQ. If we set a foot down wrong in this town, the results will not be pretty.

Documentations and Important Personnel Changes Prepared by Executive Captain Naniyori Date: Applicable To Change As More Information Becomes Available Provided to: All Embryon Members
This is our computerized personnel registry, accessible and broadcasting to every portion of Embryon Headquarters, as well as any patrolling units who have access to the database. This registry holds a list of unscheduled personnel changes, mostly to the severe end, whether to the ends of changed rank, disciplinary action, or death in action. The database does not document who is currently in Embryon's commission, or newly added personnel, only those changes that have come about in the performance of duty.
'Acts of Insubordination'
Overview: Those listed here have dishonored the Embryon name, and were granted the punishments listed below. Take these as examples, and see fit to uphold the Embryon name, even if it leads to your death.
Shaine McFitzgerald, Bour Ying, Lieutenant Edward, Major Orgel: Cited by Captain Gabi for failure in the line of duty to carry out orders given by a commanding officer, and actions unbecoming of a member of Embryon. Punishment: One Full Day in the dungeons. Release upon call to duty on 5/1/12.
'Death In Action (DIA)'
Overview: Those listed below are members of Embryon who have died during our current assignment in Inaba, and are to be honored for their sacrifices. Even those who were dishonorable in life may fight atonement in death, and we at Embryon do not speak ill of the dead who protected our peace.
Allen Wolfe: The cause of death is currently unknown, but evidence suggests that his death was caused by a Devil Summoner. There were no witnesses so the summoner cannot be identified but multiple burnt areas, the inflicted wounds on the corpse, and events seemed to suggest as much. He had a criminal record, and no known family. Requiescat in pace.
Takumi Konakawa: The cause of death was severe trauma to the chest and internal organs within. Wounds appear ragged, as if caused by a clawed beast of some kind. Captain Naniyori reported the culprit to be prisoner Tia Izumi, a COMP-User, who was sentenced to death for her crime. Takumi was a specialist in several disciplines, but never rose past the rank of Major. Rest in peace.
Shaine McFitzgerald: Investigation ongoing...
Sata Kenshoni: The causes of death were severe burns and multiple slashing wounds to the torso and abdomen area. Investigation into possible suspects ongoing. Current suspects include local delinquent Mamoru Tsuzuki, who was engaged by two Embryon operatives on the way from the crime scene. Investigation ongoing...

Priority Report Prepared by Senior Chief Petty Officer Reina Udonge Monday, April 30, 2012 Provided to: Lord General Balmung and all Embryon Captains
A member of the Embryon has reported the presence of a demon suspected to be Baldr (alternatively Balder, Baldur, Beldr), a deity-rank spirit of the Norse pantheon known to be immune to just about everything.
By order of the Lord General: All involvement with this spirit, without specific permission, is strictly forbidden. Patrols are to retreat on sight to a safe location and contact the Lord General immediately.
Further information on Baldr (and related subjects) is available at the Secretary's station.
