A faefox stood inside the candy shop, looking through the window as she waited for customers. All sorts of candy - and especially every type of licorice ever invented - could be seen in the display cases, and trays of candy stood out for free samples. She munched on a string of her favorite black licorice to pass the time.

Ian walked casually into the candy shop to quell a sudden candy craving. With seeming tunnel vision he looked through the many different boxes of sweets, and remained completely oblivious to the gorgeous shopkeeper. After picking up a few things, he walked up to the counter and finally noticed the Faefox, who was sampling some licorice. "Oh, h-hello." With an awkward smirk, trying to initiate conversation, he motioned towards the licorice up for sampling. "Did you make these yourself?" ((I'll warn you, he's a direct and no-bullshit kind of a guy, and he tries very hard to hide his emotions. Hopefully she can bring those out of him? <3))

Miela gave him a disarming smile. "I make all the candy in my shop. My favorite is the licorice, but I'm sure you'll find it's all very good." She pushed forward one of the trays. "This is my personal favorite, try some! And if you like it, I'd be happy to show you how to make it sometime."
((Haha, that's fine. Miela's an open book, I think, doesn't hide things. Also very energetic, and can be a bit spontaneous. And she loves candy. xd ))

Ian looked around the shop and realized how long it must've taken to make all of it. "Impressive. That's... that's a lot of candy." Then he looked to the bowl of licorice she mentioned. He hated licorice in the past, way too bitter, but he didn't want to insult her. Reluctantly he took a piece and chewed for a while, really trying to analyze the flavors. Complex flavors in cooking was an interest of his, and he never imagined that he could find the same complexity in candy, but here he stands corrected. With a smirk he looked at the Faefox and said with surprise, "I don't know how you did it but somehow I stomached this. It wasn't bitter at all... it was great!"

Miela laughed. "Candy is my passion. That's why I opened this shop, to share candy with all the other faes in Faetasia." She opened up the back of the display case. "What sort of things do you normally like? I can pull out some for you to try."

"Favorite candies.... I'm not really one for favorites but I'm in the mood for something sour."

A mischievous grin crossed her face. "Just how sour?" She pulled up two plates of candy; one was covered in small hard candies, colored a mix of pink and purple, and the other was some kind of chewy candy, colored blue and covered with sugar crystals. "The sour blasts" - she pointed to the pink and purple ones - "are the most sour thing you'll ever taste. If you don't think you're up for them, you could try one of the raspberry punches," she finished, pointing to the other tray.

The bell on the door jingled as Aiden fluttered into the candy shop. He'd heard there was a new one in town and he wanted to check it out. Maybe the owner would even like a partner! Aiden had been looking to start a shop, but maybe it would be more fun with someone else! A smile rested on his face as his wings fluttered slightly while he touched down. His tail waved slightly as he noticed the two Kats having a conversation. It seemed like the bright colored FaeFox was the one who ran the shop. She was currently offering the Wazzit a selection of sour candies.
Aiden wrinkled his nose at the thought. Sour was not his style at all! He specialized and loved sweet things. Candy, brownies, cookies, cakes, pastries, any delectable sweet treat! You name it, and Aiden could whip it up. He browsed around the shop, not wanting to be rude and interrupt the conversation. Certainly, he could wait. His eyes wandered over the variety of candy and he smiled again. It was exciting to see someone with the same passion for candy that he had!

Ian was a picky one, and tried his best to only indulge in the best of the best. The raspberry punches just wouldn't cut it. "Sour blast it is then." With an innocent smugness, he popped one in his mouth, and just as a Pure walked into the store, he looked towards him with a quite awkward sour pucker. Sour? Yes. Painful? Yes. Worth it? Yes.

Miela gave him an innocent smile. "What do you think?" It was impossible to tell if she was teasing him, or completely serious.
While waiting for the sourness to fade enough that he could respond, she glanced at the other fae. "Good afternoon! Welcome to my candy shoppe, feel free to look around. If you'd like to try something, just let me know." With all the variety in the store, there was nonetheless a definite tendency towards types of licorice... and noticeably no pastries or anything of the sort. Not that Miela didn't like them, she was just particularly good at making candy.

Aiden couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the Wattiz's pucker. It must have been mighty sour! He made a mental not to avoid those. Some slightly sour things were okay, but he wasn't one for tear jerking sour candies. Candy was supposed to be a treat, not torture! There certainly was a great variety, but there could be more. Again, he thought about asking her if she'd want a partner to expand the shop. It would be so much fun!
As he continued to look, he noticed the focus on liquorish. It was interesting. He'd never seen such a variety of it! There were some interesting flavors he noticed. Those he'd have to try! "I will let you know, but please, don't let me interrupt you right now!" He smiled at her and picked up some of the mixed boxes of candies, looking at them.

"Honestly, it's really good. Great in fact. It's been a long time since I've had anything sour enough for me." He gave her a charming smile, but charm looks a bit awkward on him. "You know..." He leaned a bit closer to her, embarrassed by what he was going to say. "You've been kind enough to let me try your candy, and you have magnificent skill." He took a deep breath before he continued. "Would I be able to return the favor and cook dinner for you some day? I'm pretty good around the kitchen." He was nervous as to what her reaction would be... probably another rejection though. She's too cute. She wouldn't be interested in me.

Miela grinned. "Glad you liked it. And you're not the only one who's come in here looking for something really sour, so I make sure now to stock those."
When he leaned forward and made his proposal, she looked a little surprised for a moment, before laughing happily. "I'd love to come over for dinner sometime. And I can even bring ingredients teach you how to make some of your favorite candy, if you let me know what you'd prefer." She smiled, and winked at him.

Ian didn't react for a few seconds, then the fact that she said yes sunk in. "It sounds like a plan then." He sounded surprised at the positive outcome. "My type of candy is a Truffle. I have simple tastes. Oh, I didn't even realize... may I ask you for your name?"

"Is tomorrow night good?" Then she reached behind the counter and grabbed a dark chocolate truffle, dropping it in his paw. "Truffles are a little work, but hard to go too wrong on." She smiled. "I'm Miela. And you are...?"
