I dont get why people hate Near, hes Cuddly ^~^

Half the reason, for me, is that I didn't find Near's part in the anime nearly as interesting as L's. L was original, Near came in with similar mannerisms and just seemed like the author was thinking, 'L's gone. Time to replace him.'

I wouldn't have had much of a problem if the anime would have ended when Light beat L just because the rest of the anime seemed slow to me.

Near is annoying (He never moves)

Misa is really annoying but can do so much better then Light... maybe Matsuda

L is depressing, other then that he's really fun to be around

Light is boring, him reading those porn magazines and using laser pens was the most interesting thing about him

Mikami is lonely, you kinda want to give him a hug if he wasn't going to rape you with a laser pen and ask for a Shinigami to watch

Mello is Willie Wonka with a gun, even more crazy

Soichiro/Aizawa/Wammy is the most normal person... which makes him boring

Matsuda is also normal but he jump out of a 8 story building window and lived, an shot Light, over and over, and he's Pro-Kira which is fashinable

And then there's Matt. He has 12 lines in the whole series but still pwns Light.

Because she was generally annoying - her voice, her personality, her clothes, her Light-obsession... and to top that, she got in the way of LxLight. D:
So overall, I was just like... neh. neutral

Near would be second, I guess; he was too much like L for his own good, and the fact that he poofed onto the scene pretty much after L died makes that all the more irritating~ Also, my deep hatred for NearxMello probably isn't earning him any points. Nyaah. Insert "/rant" here. sweatdrop
