Although everyone knows Adam Young is the only songwriter for Owl City, it still in fact is a band. It's not just Adam Young making the [awesome] music. Owl City's live band also consists of: Breanne Duren (background vocals/keyboards), Matthew Decker (drums), Laura Musten (violin), and Hannah Schroeder (cello).
I just thought I'd let those fans who flame new fans about how they don't know that Owl City is just one person. It's not. xD
ANYWAYS, hai, I'm a new guildie xp

Isn't that just the band that preforms.
He actually makes all the music.
Synthesizers and electronic.
Everything on the CD's - Adam Young
Live - Him on guitar *o* and then the others.
The fabulous others.

I don't understand why people get so upset when another says Owl City's a band.
I see the reasons, but it doesn't seem to matter.
They ("they" being Adam and all those who play the instruments) make good music, bottom line.

Owl City is and is only Adam Young.
Unless you are referring to the live band that helps out with the shows.
Yes they are the band. But Adam Young is Owl City.

A band is a band and that's that. So what if there's one person in it? (Other than live shows) Haters are just jealous that their favorite singers can't grind out so many great songs. Most people's favorite singers have one or two good songs and the rest are crap, and they're just jealous XD
