Somebody tells me that's not an awesome site.
I spent like 2-3 hours when I should've been asleep last night reading the High Octane Nightmare, Nightmare and Paranoia Fuel pages, particularly of instances from video games. It's awesome reading about how ******** up Kirby, Earthbound and Pokemon can be when NOT looking at it all through a child's eye. Holy crap, Pokemon is scary. And to think I was only turned off to the franchise cuz people DRANK out of Shuckle in the cartoon (which is a weird, dumbass reason but hey, I was a weird, dumbass kid at the time... well, there was another reason but now I see it's... just whatever, it's Pokemon, so yeah).
EDIT: I realize that it's probably no different than drinking milk straight from a cowMiltank but wtf is a Shuckle? Omg...

XD WTF? I never saw them drink out of Shuckle, it probably occurred after I'd gotten bored with the show and didn't watch it anymore. That sounds pretty weird. I wasn't aware Shuckle had anything in it to drink.

You don't remember that Shuckle makes berry juices or something? Ever since the Gold and Silver era. You make it hold a berry, fight a battle or something, and the berry will change to a berry juice that heals more HP I think?

Kazzypoo You don't remember that Shuckle makes berry juices or something? Ever since the Gold and Silver era. You make it hold a berry, fight a battle or something, and the berry will change to a berry juice that heals more HP I think? I don't remember the show ever saying Shuckles take berries INTO their bodies and excrete juice... I'd... I'd have remembered that.
The games might've said it, maybe, but I stopped at Yellow, which precludes Shuckles and... Miltanks. So I'm behind on the times.
But... butbut, you're STILL drinking that godforsaken stuff out of its body? It's like sucking sweat or protective skin slime from a frog or something. Even after it drank a can of Mountain Dew or whatever. It's grody! *u*;

It's a pretty good site. But I honestly can do away with the extreme informality that is there in the articles.
Like, seriously, this is stupid: "This troper once had a grandmother who exhibited this trope." (I made that up, but the others aren't any better)
Get rid of all of that crap and we'd have a pretty solid site.

I damn near facepalmed, especially since the last face was blanked out. I wouldn't mind the informality being cut down by 50%, otherwise I can suffer the other half.

I just got to the Cue Cullen trope page. Holy crap, I'm reacting exactly the way I should be to some of these things. e_E
Like the Prince of Persia movie with Jake Gyhlere.dd.s.... I don't know how to spell his last name. The Donnie Darko guy. I wouldn't have given the movie a second thought if not for this trope page. xD
Also... Jeff Goldblum. That is all.
