Alexander stood just a few feet from a crowded marketplace with his hands covering his ears and his eyes closed. Even so, the noise in his head wouldn't quit. All the people in the marketplace were thinking so loud he couldn't hear anything. Ducking his head between his knees, he didn't realize he was making distressed noises, he just wanted it to stop.

Seyd's own eyes were looking around the market. He had been put down for a moment by his new guardian while she picked up a small red fruit. While he was very interested in what it might have been, the small cries of some living creature had caught his attention.
Waddling slight from leg to leg, Seyd turned his attention to the side of the market. A small red headed boy appeared to be in pain. The closer he approached, the more his small ears could hear it. "Hey..." A soft voice of the young boy whispered. "You hurt?"

Alexander looked up at the blue haired boy that spoke to him? "What?" he asked, moments before the question sank into his buzzing head. "Head...hurts...too much noise!" he answered, trying not to let the tears that threatened fall. "Can't...think..." he whined low.

"Noise?" Seyd's golden eyes picked up as he looked around. Of course it was rather loud in the market but when wasn't it? The few times he had been or been carried past it had shown him that. But to be in so much pain?
Yet if it was noise the boy could not stand, then Seyd wanted to get rid of it for him. He could not call out to the people but he could do something else. Grabbing a scarf that was hangging from a near by table, Seyd held it out for him. "Here. Around your head."

"Mm?" the telepathic toddler looked up and took the scarf. "Thanks," he said and doubled the scarf around his head, making sure his ears were covered. The outer noises were muffled now, but the noise inside his head was not lessened by the fabric. "Helps. I Xander," he offered, a thin smile on his lips.

The smile that lit up his face was one of pride. Even at a young age, Seyd enjoyed helping others. The relief it gave them and the feeling of comfort to him was always a good thing. "I glad." He smiled hearing that his idea had helped.
"Xander?" He questioned at first before giving a nod. "Seyd." Pointing to himself, the young boy held out an arm as he had seen other men do before.

Alexander's smile widened. "Hi," he said, grasping Seyd's hand. He'd seen a few of the grown ups doing this, especially the men. "Wanna play?" He cocked his head to the side as he asked his question, always glad to meet new friends.
((Sorry that my posts are so short, I'm not used to RPing toddlers :3))

"Sure." Seyd smiled brightly at the idea of a playmate. It had been far too long since he had been around anyone his own age. Now, at the chance, he completely forgot about his guardian.
"Want to play hide and seak?" He asked thinking there was alot of places to play around here.
((Don't worry. I think it's hard as well.))

Alexander stood carefully, trying to balance his body against the force of the static inside his head. "Sure! Who seeks?" he asked. Lately his only playmates were Megaera and Aiolos. Ai tended to play rough, and GeeGee was too quiet. Maybe if they moved away from the marketplace, he would be able to take the scarf off and play unhindered. Looking down the alley way they stood in, he saw the beginnings of a forest. "Play over there?" he asked, pointing to the brown and green area.

At first, Seyd looked a little worried. He didn't like the idea of leaving his guardian's vision but it was only for a little while, right? And he wouldn't be alone...
"Okay." With a happy nod, Seyd started at a faster pace waddle than he had been at before. Eyes looking around as they walked, he tried to take in everything around them. Even so, he missed hearing one man call after them for the return of the scarf.

Alexander had already lost his guardian, but he knew he could always find her, if he could zero in on her thoughts. He followed slightly behind Seyd, and as they ventured further from the marketplace, hte noise in his head subsided. Feeling much better, he pulled the scarf from his head and set it down on the ground, making a mental note to remember to pick it up on the way back. "You wanna seek? Or me?" he asked as they neared the woods.

"I'll seek first. Let your head rest so you don't have to hear anything." Seyd smiled as he looked for a large tree near by. Putting his hand against it, the boy smiled. "Base?"

The red head nodded. "Right, okay." He grinned as Seyd indicated a big tree as base. "Yus. Base," he said as he touched the tree. "Ready?" he asked, excited now to have someone new to play with. He stood ready to take off as soon as Seyd closed his eyes and started counting.
