Natalya tugged at Sabra's hand. "Do we have to go into the scary place?" She whispered softly as she pressed closer to her guardian. Her antenna flashed nervously -to Tally it was a bit of terror and excitement balled up into one. Sabra had explained to her that she had a Daddy here somewhere. A very angelic daddy who had given her some of his traits, including the main one: patience.
Still she was terrified. What if he didn't like her? What if she made some mistake! What if all the feelings - Sabra gave the child's hand a comforting squeeze. "Tally, it'll be fine. Kay?"
"You say so-"
"Oh, come on Tally. You get to learn more about yourself, doesn't that interest you?"
"Yeah, but-" The child sighed and clutched at the small bag in her hands. "What if he doesn't like me though?"
Sabra smiled warmly as she stopped and looked down at Tally with bright eyes, "Natalya. You're adorable, how could he not like you? Plus, angels are very nice souls. Now come on."
Tally followed her guardian shyly and ducked behind a pant leg as Sabra walked up to the technician. "Hello. I'm Sabra and somewhere - " The young woman paused as she looked around, "Was Natalya. We're here to meet Patience."
