http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/vv276/UnderSakuraSkies/zephar2.jpgThe little kirin was wandering in the thick under brush of the forest. His little dainty burrow was near by but he was braving the rays of the sun for one reason. Hunger, his vampiric urges were taking over him once more, blood, he needed blood. Were it came from he didn't care, and because of this he was a loner. He had no friends, no family, no one but himself to take care of him. Its how it had always been for him. Little Zephar had once tried to make friends but his true self had emerged and he had bitten one of them, driving them off. He really couldn't help how he was or who he was. Most of the time he felt lost within his own self. He would really like a friend to talk to, but he was still afraid to try to make friends after his first attempt. What if next time he killed someone when those urges took over. Shaking his head the little kirin carried on his way. Soon he was on the trail of a rabbit, stalking it like a predator would the little kirin silently moved through the brush, keeping out of the sun. A mistake here and his meal could go running.

Hecate was in the Shadows of Sakura Skies. Where everyone here knows this place as a heaven, there was always a dark side to everything.
Hecate looked around at all the other Kirins playing in the sun where it burns her to even look at the brightness.
Hecate just stood there, watching the Kirins until she grew bored and moved on from her spot.
"I grow tired of this place. Where shall I go now?"

Zephar continued stalking his prey, yet when the rabbit had moved into a sunny clearing the Kirin stayed lurking in the shadows. Move.. he pleaded the thing with his mind. The little kirin began to pace within the shadows waiting. He would have chased it into the sun but he was already weak enough from his hunger. The sun would weaken him even more, and that he couldn't chance right now. The sun burned yes, but over time he became used to the pain from the sun, used to the effects the sun had upon him. Though he had found by past experience that when the sun was high in the sky it was at its strongest, he couldn't even bare to look at it when it that time came each day. Each day during the hours the sun was high in the sky the tiny kirin had to return to his little burrow under the ground and among the roots.
Waiting in silence the little kirin kept hoping for his meal to move back into the shadows. Hooves pawing at the ground under him, he was becoming antsy. Silently he bared his fangs at the rabbit in pure frustration. Why wouldn't it move? Stupid thing. The hunger in the pit of his stomach was becoming stronger, making him more antsy to go after the little creature in the sunny clearing. He continued to wait though, patience always brought around good fortune.
Finally it did, as the clouds rolled over head blocking out most of the burning rays of the sun. Without much hesitation the Kirin darted from its spot pouncing on the rabbit at hand. Teeth sinking into its back the thing made a wail of a cry, wiggling under the strong jaws of the kirin's over bite. He caught his prey and the blood stained furred kirin was not going to let it go. He enjoyed it as it squirmed under his grasps, the different cries the rabbit made excited him.

Hecate was moving amoung the shadows. Bored as usual and had nothing to do but walk around before she goes home.
Actually, Hecate was kinda looking for someone. She heard tales about another Kirin wondering around the same area and she wanted to see for herself who this Kirin was. She didn't want another Kirin like she, crossing her territory but was curious on what the other one of her looks like.
She thought she was the only one.
A movement from the corner of her eyes drew her out of her thoughts.
Hecate turned to looked at what moved, and saw a strange, young Kirin killing a rabbit.
The young kirin had blood and what seemed to be bat wings on his back. He had a white undercoat which brought out the blood like markings and grey soot markings.
Hecate looked above as the clouds. They cover the sun....so the young one can only come out by the cover of darkness too.
But as soon as the clouds covered the sun, became to move.
Hecate looked at the little kirin, waiting...watching, on what he might do next.

The little kirin hadn't realized that the sun was about to shine through the clouds until it was to late. Moving as quick as he could, which wasn't quick enough, he headed towards the brush near the edge of the clearing, rabbit in tow. It looked as if he was going to make it in time but dragging extra weight caused him to slow. The sun's light his his bottom. One might expect a small yelp from the tiny kirin, yet the burn from the sun on his bottom didn't seem to bother him. His mind was solely on his kill.
Once in the safety of the shadows Zephar began to drain the rabbit of its blood from the back of its neck. His blood stained fur was deepening as the blood dripped from his bottom lip and on to his hoof. The feeling of the blood running from his mouth down his throat and into his stomach excited him, causing him to drain the rabbit quickly. Once he was finished draining the rabbit he tossed the limp creature to the side, baring his teeth once more he wanted more of this delicious smelling scent on him. Blood lust beginning to take hold of him he wanted to kill more, fed more, and bath in this red liquid till his hearts content.

"Huh. So the little one got away," thought Hecate as she saw the little Kirin go into the bush for cover of the sun.
Hecate was about to turn and leave but say the little Kirin...drinking blood from the rabbit.
Even in the shadows, Hecate can see very well. And she saw how the rabbit's skin tighten around the bones as the life was sucked out of it.
"So the little Kirin sucks blood. Interesting. Well, itf that's what all he does..."
Hecate slowed her breathing down and concentrate. Through her eyes, the world went black and all she saw was the rabbit but that too was slowly turning into the same color as the world.
Then...she couldn't see the rabbit at all. In it's place...was a soul.
Hecate breathe in deeply and inhaled the soul from a far.
Hecate can taste the sweet innocence of the rabbit and smiled deeply.
"Delicious," said Hecate.
Then after eating her meal, she turned towards the little Kirin, to see what he might do next.

Tollyp wandered the woods alone today, Sorbet have gone on a day trip. He was told not to leave the den, but instead he had wanted to go for a walk. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and the shade from the trees made it the perfect temperature. He was not really paying attention to where he was going, but he had a feeling he could find his way home when he decided to go. As he pushed his way through a bush, he smelled something like metal. Sneezing, he pushed through even closer and kept looking around. He heard rustling from a few feet away and froze. "H-h-hello?"

Xhoco was wondering around the forest on Sakura Skies. It has been awhile since he fell into the Chocolate river and became known as the "Chocolate Covered Strawberry." Xhoco maybe young but he has to be brave if he wanted to be a leader someday.
Xhoco stopped when he heard a noise that sounded like a hello. He turned towards the direction of the hello and saw a brown and green Kirin.
"Wow..." he said silently. "Maybe we can play," Xhoco almost said before he stopped and think. "I'll see what's he's doing first before I give away my position. ((Here you go Zeal!))

Tollyp shook his head and began to wander through the underbrush. "Crazy. Hearing things... and now I'm talking to myself." As pushed through one bush he saw the feet of another kirin. The hooves were red and brown, and he crouched down to try and get a better look. Unfortunately he lost his balance and tumbled head first through the bush and landed in front of the other kirin. Shaking his head again he looked up at him and smiled shyly. "Hello..."

Xhoco stopped bouncing and turned back to look at the other Kirin. "By the way, I'm Xhoco. What's your name?"
