And I didn't actually, but I've been telling everyone my theory on the entire arc for like the last 3 chapters so I wasn't surprised in the least. XD By the way, Yana said that the next chapter would be lonely...sans Sebastian?
-shrugs- I don't believe he's dead. The whole purpose of the letter to Ciel was to inform him he needed to entertain these guests, though the time span is a little awkward. I think that this is a murder mystery game. Though whether or not Ciel planned on having Sebastian 'die' is debatable. He did grab something from his coat before he pulled away. I also believe Sebastian knew he was going to 'disappear' as he gave all the servants instructions before hand. Plus there were what appeared to be bloodstains on the pillow he kept clutching to his body while he went to talk to Ciel and Arthur. I want to know what that's all about.
Oh and Arthur is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle-- or he will be in the future. Considering what he wrote, I believe this entire charade could very well be the spark that ignited his mystery novels. After all, Ciel admitted he was a fan of the wordsmith's work. : ) It would be cute and very fitting.

I guess it wasn't so much what happened(cause you saw it coming)...as the fact that I ended up reading it the day it came out....so I couldn't just move on to the next chapter....-_-
I don't know that Ciel knew....I think if he did he wouldn't have told him to quit playing around....because as far as I know none of the servants know that Sebastian is a demon. I'm freaking out cause I want answers and I have to wait for them....
Practically had a spazz attack on my roommate when I realized I that I couldn't even find RAWs of the next chapter! She threatened to slap me if I wouldn't shut up. XP Jokingly of course.
And if memory serves me correctly it was the pin with the Phantomhive crest that he pulled off of Sebastian's coat. Which could mean something or it could just be an act of mourning. Like removing the wedding ring from a deceased loved one. If Ciel did know then I can't wait to see how they explain this to the servants....

I know! I can't wait for the next chapter either! Gah... does your roommate like Kuro too? Mine is never around. XD So she doesn't see my spazzes when the new chapters are out.
Oh yeah, plus there is the fact that if Sebastian is removed, like, buried or something and presumed dead...how the heck WOULD his reappearance be explained to the servants? It would be a shock to them, like seeing a ghost.

I know.....though they did do something similar in the musical....but my Japanese be too shabby to figure out how that one was explained. I think Ciel explained it.....

i think sebby is really dead because maybe his lifespan as a demon was fading after all this time and, since he was already a little mortal, the queens servant, ash, striked him while he was down!! but that was sooooo sad i cried!
( i read it at 1 in the morning =.=)
i cant wait till the next chapter comes out~ i hope its not the last!~

It isn't the last one. Yana said in a previous interview she plans on continuing the series for quite some time so unless something happens with the publishing company Kuro will be around for a while yet.
lol I wonder how Grell would react. XD I bet he would steal that pillow with Sebby's blood on it.

But only one Charles Grey was actually AT the party! And they seem the type to be able to get in and out without people noticing. ^_^ There's also probably a hint that has to do with the fire.

Yeah i agree...I have no idea how this is going to play out but I can't wait to find out how they pull this one off wink ...Sebby is SOO not dead...no way he could be dead... smile
