Have a technique that works for unplugging a plugged nose? I've tried steam, nasal rinse, blowing, none of it seems to work. It's so bad that I literally want to run a boresnake through my nostrils to try and clear it out.
You guys have anything that works?

I took a decongestant pill that worked like magic for about ten seconds.

ArmasTermin Have any of that Vicks Vapo Rub stuff? It's somewhere, but I don't know exactly where it is. It never really worked for me, though.

Wow, looks like you've tried everything that works for me... last resort, turn yourself upside-down. If it gets real bad, flipping my head upside-down clears it temporarily, and usually loosens it enough for blowing to work.

lay on 1 side for a while... most of it will drain to 1 side, and let u breath reasonably well through 1 nostril

I am seriously stuffed and normal vick's don't work. I take the vick's and put it on my finger or a cotton swab and put it in my nose itself. I know your not suppose to do that and it burns, but damn it works fast.

Hop on one foot while rubbing your belly with your right hand counterclockwise, and the top of your head with your left hand clockwise.

Somehow, pressure on the sinus drains- sides of your nose, at the point where the under eye ridge meets the nose bone; and the insides of the eyebrow ridge, to where the nose meets there.
Pressure on those can sometimes clear your nose out.

This is worthless for the daytime, but I've found that standard Nyquil liquid stops most of my nasal problems when I get really sick. Some varieties of Theraflu also stop nasal drip. Loading up with water and orange juice will help slightly.
Good luck.

If nothing else works, do try the boresnake and give us the results.
