How many years has it been since somebody said my name? How many years has it been since somebody remembered me? Why does everybody fear me and make up so many stories? All I want is for someone to rescue me from here. Nobody would want to be trapped in a mirror like this... right...? Mira Touei didn't remember when he first entered, or was thrown in, the Mirror. All he remembered was himself being cursed by the very person he loved and was betrayed by. Hundreds of years had already passed, and now all Mira wants to do is to leave this lonely place and continue living his normal life, but that would be impossible. He had lost nearly all his memory of the outside world except for the names of his parents, his lover, and himself, and could he only watch helplessly from his prison as his loved ones died and the world changed. Now he has nobody left, and no one wants to ever talk to him. They were all afraid of someone named Bloody Mary, whom they always called him when his curiosity and hope got the best of him.
After so many years of trying to find someone who wouldn't run away at his sight, Mira finally met someone who resembled the very person he loved. The person, ~X~, the descendant of that traitor, was very different from the rest. Instead of running away, he would stay where he was and stare or try to communcate with Mira, which was successful. But they both have yet to find a way to release Mira from his prison.
Will ~X~ be the one who can save the mysterious boy in the mirror? Or will he abandon Mira like someone from the past? Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary My favorite candle scent: Crazy_Tomboy313 I chant: Mira Touei I'm this old: Perhaps 900, but I look 16 In a relationship, I'd be: Uke Behind the mirror: I wasn't always 'Bloody Mary'. Actually, Mary is my mom, but people call her Bloody Mary because she's not afraid to go out and do some man's work, which often brings her back either covered in the blood of animals that are used for food or bleeding hands. That's where she got her name. Anyway, so one day, on my sixteenth birthday, I fell in love with a stranger that came onto our small village. He was very kind to me and I would meet up with him every day, but one day he just went mad and he trapped me here. Now I hate him with all my heart, but I can't help but still feel love for him despite all this suffering in this lonely world. How I longed for the freedom that seemed so impossible... until I met him... I don't understand why people called me Bloody Mary. All I did was approach the mirror that I would hear their voice come from. I thought they knew my mother and were coming to set me free, but I was always wrong. They would scream whenever I appeared and would run away. When I see this magical box, which people called a TV, that had voices and images of people talking about me they would always get my appearance wrong and accuse me of deaths or injuries of the people I encountered. I'm really annoyed by this, because now everyone's scared of me. I don't get it. I would never hurt a fly, even less a fellow human. In the mirror: My favorite candle scent: Crystal of Infinity I chant: Kaitou Yorukage I'm this old: 17 In a relationship, I'd be: Seme Behind the mirror: Kaitou is one of the 'trouble-makers' at his high school. He is known as a playboy and 'womanizer' by most of the student body, since he is always in the company old older women. Who happen to be friends of his older sister, and people who used to babysit the 'little hellion'. He likes collecting old things, and found a creepy mirror that is believed to be THE Bloody Mary mirror. Creepy things like that are his favorite kind of old object. He has a dark personality, and fits in with the schools outcasts, goths, and punks. He also draws people to him with a natural magnetism. He also is into all forms of 'pagan' belief's like tarot and Wicca. He has found a number of old Wiccan spell-books and artifacts said to have been used in pagan rituals. Most of it isn't seeped in a dark, bloody history, but all are creepy in their own rights. He wears a number of different 'holy' -and 'unholy'- jewelry pieces, all in silver. In the mirror:

"Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary," Mira heard a voice say. Could this person have known his mother? Maybe she told them where he was and those people are coming to rescue him. Wishing to confirm these thoughts, Mira floated up to the surface where he could see the world he was taken from. Right then he heard a scream and a wide-eyed person sprinted away from the mirror and out the door. Mira then sighed in frustration. Another day, another screaming person.
It had always been the same since he was thrown into this cursed place. People would just say things like "Bloody Mary" or "Bloody Mary, I killed your baby!" or something of the sort. Every single time that happened he would go fly to the window and people would scream. He didn't understand it. Why was everyone screaming when they saw him? Why did they call him Bloody Mary? That was his mom's name!
Where was he? Trapped inside a mirror in his home and supposedly with his family, except everyone he knew died so long ago and the house now belonged to some family he didn't know. He never had the chance to tell anyone about his problem. It was always scream, run away, and blame on 'Bloody Mary' for deaths or injuries of the same person who screamed at him. This would never have happened if He didn't curse him to live in a mirror like this.
Mira then sighed and floated away from the window. How he hated Him, that cursed man who put him here. His still-beating heart had been fixing itself and breaking over and over again. He would cry every day and wish he had never met that man whom he so loved. Why? Why did He get angry? Why did He have to take it out on Mira? What had he done wrong?

When his friends told him about this mirror that was an authentic 'Bloody Mary' mirror, he sneered and told them that nothing like that really existed. They argued that a friend of theirs had seen it, and died less than 24-hours after doing the bloody mary chant.
So here he was, proving them wrong. He got himself invited into the house in which the mirror resided, and the family was more than happy to give him the mirror. For free too.
If it were real, he'd take it.. Well, he might as well take the mirror anyways. He had none in his new apartment, and it was beautiful. They had shown him it, and he felt pulled to it. They gave it to him without a fuss. He thanked them and left, treating the mirror with an almost reverent care.
He made it back to his place and set the mirror up in his bathroom. 'Time to test out the legend.' "Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary." He chanted, going through the entire ritual, voice showing his disbelief in the mirror being possessed by anything. Till everything burns While everyone screams Burning in their lies Burning my dreams All of this hate And all of this pain I'll burn it all down As my anger reigns Till everything burns

There was another chant and Mira wanted so much to ignore it, but for some reason it seemed to be calling to him. Slowly and hesitantly, he floated to the window and saw Him! There was no way Mira could mistake those sparkling eyes and the hair the color of amethysts. That man, Yorukage, whose first name he didn't know, was right in front of him.
He didn't know what to say. In fact, he was frozen at the very sight of that traitor. What was he doing here?! After all this time being screamed at and feared by people he didn't know, that man finally shows up! Why was he here? To bring him out, fix his heart, and then throw him back in as soon as his hopes got up? Not in a million years.
"What do you want?" Mira hissed, glaring at Yorukage. He was sure the man couldn't hear him. His parents never did, no matter how many times they tried to communicate with him and ask him who put him there.

To say he was surprised when a boys face popped up in the mirror would be an understatement of major proportions. It was even more surprising when said boy looked at him as though he recognized him. He tilted his head a little, confusion swirling 'round in his eyes.
"Um... What?" Was the intelligent reply. He shook his head to clear it and tried again. "Who are you? This mirror is supposed to have a woman named Bloody Mary, not some....kid?" He paused as though to think about something.
"And why are you looking at me as though you know me? More like, Why are you glaring at me? I've never seen you before, so I can't have wronged you...Unless it was a past life, that could be possible I suppose." He now waited for a reply from the boy... maybe he could ask for the boys name. Till everything burns While everyone screams Burning in their lies Burning my dreams All of this hate And all of this pain I'll burn it all down As my anger reigns Till everything burns

"For your information, Bloody Mary is my mother who died a long time ago. Now, every time I hear her name and I look through the mirror to find some person I don't know screaming and running away," Mira said, still glaring at the person who apparently isn't Yorukage. The stranger resembled that man, like a mirror image. For a moment a pang of pain and sorrow hit his heart and Mira had to look away.
"Anyway, I'm sorry," Mira said after a moment of silence. "I thought you were someone else." He wanted nothing more than to disappear back into the lonely darkness from whence he stayed. "What year is it, anyway? I've lost track of time since that Yorukage put me in here. I believe that happened around year 1126."
Mira's eyes widened for a bit. Why was he still talking? Why does he keep forgetting that people can't hear him? 'This is why you can never explain your situation no matter how loud you scream!' his mind shrieked at him over and over again. There was once again a sigh of exaspiration from Mira. It would be another miracle-since the first miracle was that this person wasn't afraid of him-if the guy in the outside world could hear him or knew some other way to communcate with him.
So, if the person wasn't Yorukage, then who was he? Why did he look so much like that traitor? Why did he have that same devilish face and those sharp eyes that Mira had longed to see again?

"That's the first time someone's mistaken me for someone else. This other person must have been a real b*****d to have someone hate him so much." 'Especially such a cute boy' he thought to himself.
Kaitou nearly choked when he heard his last name coming from the boy in the mirror 's lips. He did when he heard what year the boy said he was from.
"No way. That was hundreds of years ago! It's the 21st century kid, means you must have been in there for nearly nine hundred years! And, is Yorukage the guys last name, or first?" He was soft of hoping that it wasn't, since the last name Yorukage wasn't a very commonly found name, in fact his family was the only Yorukage around..ever.
It it had been the last name of this person that the mirror-boy hated so much, then it meant he could be a descendant. "Also, you can call me Kaitou... what's your name? I can't call you mirror-boy forever." He hoped that the boy either didn't know of his 'Yorukage' 's first name, because the kid might not like that he'd have the exact same name as him if he did.
The mere fact he was a Yorukage could make the kid hate him...though he didn't know why the thought of the kid, who he'd only just met, hating him caused a stinging pain in his chest. "Eh? You can hear me or at least understand what I'm saying?" Mira asked, very surprised. "That's actually the first time someone did. Usually they can't hear me." Hope immediately sprang in his heart. Looks like his terribly miserable life is going to get better. Well, it was bound to happen. Because he was stuck in this mirror for so long there wasn't a way to die or anything.
What made the boy's happiness a bit short-lived. "I've been in here for that long, huh? No wonder he never came back," he said, very sadly. "Yorukage..." It took nearly all Mira's will to keep him from crying. He had already shed too many tears for that man, and now he just wanted to leave this place and forget.
Then Mira put on a calm face, hoping it was enough to fool that person outside the mirror. He needed to answer that other question. "Yorukage was the last name of someone I knew. You look amazingly like him," he explained to the person, now Kaito. "Well, since you're not afraid of me, I suppose I can tell you who I am. My name is Mira Touei." He faked a happy smile, but it probably still looked too sad. "It's definitely better than being called Bloody Mary, I'm sure of that."

At first he was surprised to hear the boy say that no one had heard him before, because he'd heard him loud and clear.. well it was a little muffled as though through a window, but other than that there was no problem.
He saw the smile, and could tell it was fake. When the boy, now identified as Mira, 'heh, my guess wasn't far off..Mira. Mirror.', Touei, confirmed that Yorukage was the other boy(the one that he apparently resembled)'s last name, he became a bit more solemn than normal.
He laughed when the other said being called by his actual name was better than being called 'Bloody Mary'. "Well of course it is! That name has become attached to many myths and folk-lore, about a woman's ghost haunting a mirror.
"The reason behind it varies from state to state, prefecture to prefecture... or whatever term is used to describe the dividing of land these days. Japan has prefectures and Districts, the U.S. has states and counties(within states...particularly in central US).. and so-on and so-forth." He thought over the information Mira had given him. Something seemed to tug at his mind, and he'd be damned if he ignored it.
"So, Touei-kun," He started, almost hesitantly, "Was Yorukage the one that sealed you in there?" He almost feared the answer. Kaitou made sure his face was relaxed and cocky as always, as he didn't feel like showing a true emotion if Mira wouldn't either. Also, he preferred looking like the cocky brat the world knew(and didn't love). Till everything burns While everyone screams Burning in their lies Burning my dreams All of this hate And all of this pain I'll burn it all down As my anger reigns Till everything burns
((I'm gonna have him be Japanese, even if this RP isn't based in Japan...he could have moved to wherever from Japan, hence him using Japanese honorifics and calling by last name. - the whole having him refer to Kaitou by first name is because he doesn't want Mira to know his last name is also Yorukage))

(Sounds good to me)
Mira smiled a more geniune smile as Kaito agreed with him. "Well, you can't believe everything you hear," he said. "I don't know why they call me Bloody Mary. I'm not my mom. Sure, I look like her, but it's obvious I'm not female." As Kaito explained the myth, Mira couldn't help but wonder why people believed such a thing.
At the sound of Yorukage's name, Mira's smile faded. "Yes, he did seal me in here," he replied. "I don't understand why. One day he was like... a brother to me and the next day he gets mad at me and puts me in here." He didn't want to say that Yorukage was once his lover. His new acquaintance may be disgusted.
"A-anyway, are you related to Yorukage? You look like you could be his twin, or at least a descendant since he died hundreds of years ago," Mira said, hoping to change the subject. "I'm just curious, that's all."

Kaitou shifted a bit uncomfortably at the question, not sure if Mira would hate him for being related to the one that sealed him in the mirror, but honesty would be for the best.
"Yeah..I guess so, Yorukage is an uncommon surname after all. My full name is Yorukage Kaitou...or Kaitou Yorukage, depending on if you go by the Japanese or English way of introducing your name. In Japan they say last names first. And usually only call others by last name, with the appropriate suffix, unless they're family or close friends/lovers/married..." He looked away, not wanting to see the other getting angry with him for being a descendant of the Yorukage that had sealed the boy in a mirror.
He then focused, for whatever reason, on the fact that Mira had paused when talking about how close he and Yorukage had been. The comment about being like a brother kind of sounded false to him..or something.. like he was concealing part of it.
"You sure that's all he was to you? I doubt that you'd give me a look that hate-filled if you thought i was the 'brother-like' Yorukage. It's almost the look of someone betrayed by a lover." He said it casually, tone showing no hint of dislike towards people that swung that way, since he himself has had relationships with boys before. Never serious, more like 'friends-with-benefits', or more commonly referred to as '******** cool if you were, I mean I'm not one of those 'Anti-gays' or anything. Hell most of the guys I know are gay or at least Bi. And the world is a little more open to that sorta thing." He gave the other a reassuring, but still arrogant smirk. (No problem.)
"So you are a descendant," Mira said, his tone a bit colder than before. "No wonder you are a bit like him." He put a hand to his forehead at a sudden headache that came by. "Well, it's to be expected. Since now I'm immortal and all, one of these days I'll meet up with a Yorukage."
For a moment, Mira tensed when Kaito had suspected the forbidden relationship, but he calmed down a bit when it turned out the world is more tolerant of those kinds of things. In that case, he shouldn't have such a problem.
"Um... Yes, I suppose I had a... sodomic relationship with your ancestor," Mira began, though nervously. "Please forgive me if you don't understand my speech. I'm not used to all the new words of the world outside. After all, I've been here for nearly nine hundred years."
