Well, there already is 3D Touhou if you play Love Death 2 and beyond and have successfully installed the Touhou mod.

It should actually have some elements of the fighting games in it too, or else the overly constant and fluid shots of that other game would start to look dull.

I just... saw... Utsuho's right arm...
This... isn't... it's just not right...
Although, if we ever get a 3D danmaku we're all doomed.
It would need a VERY unique flight system to be worth playing (The 3D TH combat game demo that's out is a perfect example).
