Another cool day found a dark blue water lion bounding toward a cliff overlooking the ocean. The ice hanging from him glints in the sun as he soars straight out then down in a strange arch, a whoop echoing for miles as he dives into the chilly water. Yes, Edur is a daredevil, and he adores the adrenaline rush of doing such things as he'd just done. He's scaled mountains with his wings tied to his back, chased fierce creatures to pluck a hair from their tail, and dared sharks to catch him before he reached dry land. Danger was his fuel and he loved every minute of it.
Just as he surfaces, sending foam flying in every direction, he is forced to swim out farther to avoid sharp rocks. "Close call that was! But never too much for me I say!" With a grin he got out, only to run up and jump off the cliff again, his loud laughter trailing all around him.

Kenna had run to the other side of the island without knowing it. She panted, she was so clumsy on land but she had still run. She just wanted to get away,It broke her heart to know Ai no longer needed her. Her beloved little sister she had cared so much for. Kenna wasn't needed to protect her anymore, she had found someone else....
The water lioness collapsed on the beach, she occasional lapping of the shore brought the waters close enough to wet her paws. Berrying her head in her paws Kenna cried. What was she going to do now?

Edur had just surfaced from his latest jump when he spotted the lioness on the beach. He was just about to call out to her when the tide slammed him into a large rock. A loud roar of pain left him as he sputtered, his front and hind paws on his left side not moving right. "AHHHH!!!" It was no use, he was just splashing around by now and energy was leaving his body rapidly. He held onto a rock weakly, hoping somebody would see him, then he remembered the lioness. "Oi!!! I'm in a bit of trouble!!!"

Kenna looked up tears in her eyes. There was a lion there. A water Lion by the looks of it and he was calling to her? Why? Couldn't he swim? Kenna wast too distraught to realize what had happened. Though she could at least realize he needed help. Kenna ran into the water and swam over to the blue lion.
"Grab hold of my dorsal." She told him referring to the stiff fin on her back "I'll swim you back to shore."

Edur had given up on help from somebody else by then and was trying to move his right front and hind legs. It hurt too much though and he nearly sank under until he saw her. Frantically he grabbed her dorsal fin, holding on until he was on shore. Once he got onto the shore he rolled to his good side, the bad legs exposed to the air. A whimper left him as his front right leg had several dark bruises and the back had several gashes that bled more freely as water dripped from his slick fur. "Thank you Ma'am...Thought I was going to die or something for a second there..."

Kenna stood over the male and examined his legs "Pretty badly broken." she previous sorrows forgotten for the instant. "If you don't close that wound you'll bleed to death." At least the salt water would stop it from getting infected though the other leg was clearly fractured if not broken.
"What are you going to do now?" she asked He couldn't even walk what could he possibly do? He'd starve to death.

"Well...it's been a right good life eh? I've done my share of risks and one finally caught up with me." He moved to his back, the one leg dangling a bit to the point where it was obviously broken. "I have no way to eat or drink. I'm prey to other carnivors. Thank you kindly for helping me Miss, but you may as well leave me here to die. I'm a stranger after all. I don't want to be a burden to ya, not someone as beautiful as you." He chuckled, then winced when the movement hurt. Deciding it hurt too much he moved back to his side and closed his eyes, fully prepared for her to leave. He wasn't scared of death, or so he kept telling himself. In all honesty he was terrified of being alone, but he didn't want to burden her.

Kenna looked at him shocked, he was ready to die alone and by himself. Kenna was terrified of being alone and that fear had been fully realized when Ai hand found her mate. Kenna was alone. She couldn't let this male die the same way. Kenna ran into the bush leaving the male for a moment as she looked for mud to bring to his wound. sand would have hurt a lot more.
Kenna came running back to the male. "Here." she said placing the leaves on the the males wound to try and stop the bleeding.
"You wont die." Kenna Promised "I wont let you die, or be alone."

Edur had been expecting her to leave, so when she ran off he figured he'd never see her again. That's why when she ran back with stuff to put on his wounds he looked at her in shock. Happy shock, but still shock. "Your going to keep me company...? I can't thank you enough Miss. What might your n..ack!" When the mud touched his wounds he let out a yowl of pain, but smiled at her regardless. "What might your name be? I'm Edur.." Oh how pathetic he must look to her. But he didn't care, not when she was willing to help him survive.
