In case you don't know, Haiti was already one of the poorest countries in the world with a severe lack of food, water, clothing, and other basic necesities. Tuesday, January 12, a 7.0 earthquake hit and devastated the country.
Durring such a crisis, the world has given generously, but it is not the giving that is the problem. There are ships filled with greatly needed supplies that are unable to reach the country due to the devastation.

I heard a story about a little girl trapped under a tremendous pile of debree for days while people worked to get her out.
I have several classmates with families and homes in Haiti. The situation is very drastic and real. The country could greatly use your prayers to whichever god(s) you pray to. There are several agencies accepting money to send to Haiti as well. While a few dollars seems minescule compared to the damage and the fact that supplies are unable to make it to the country, any bit you could possibly have to spare could add up and make a difference.
