At this point there are so many paranormal tv shows:
Ghost Hunters, International Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Ghost Encounters, Ghost Lab, Ghost Adventures, Paranormal Cops. (I'm sure there is more).
I thought we could discuss the good and the bad. Give each other ideas on what is good to watch.

Lately I have become a huge fan of Ghost Adventures. I like them more than TAPS at this point.
The reasons why:
No camera crews, they film everything themselves. Most importantly, no scyfy screwing everything up.
What I don't like is some of the people who guest star on there.

I think I may be done with paranormal shows. Its starting to get repetitive. Plus with us having our own group. I think I can get the thrill of the hunt by actually doing it and knowing we are not faking s**t, then watching it and wondering if they are faking it.

Yeah, I still like Ghost Adventures because they spend half the episode just going over the history of the location. Which I find really interesting and they have some good ideas.
I did watch a lot of the youtube footage about pointing out where TAPS was faking stuff. Most of the soo called fake stuff is the person pointing it out being really a**l and picky about things.

I do believe they got a lot of stuff that was real. I know they like to play jokes on each other. They got to do something every once in a while. But I don't think they really did to much tampering with evidence.

They just need to stay away from live episodes, they will be their downfall. That's how I got into Ghost Adventures though, since TAPS didn't do a live ep this year I watched G. Adventures instead and the whole no camera man part is such a bonus. They do visit a lot of the same places TAPS went to though. It is fun to compare the evidence.

celticfireguardian They just need to stay away from live episodes, they will be their downfall. That's how I got into Ghost Adventures though, since TAPS didn't do a live ep this year I watched G. Adventures instead and the whole no camera man part is such a bonus. They do visit a lot of the same places TAPS went to though. It is fun to compare the evidence. they do get some pretty interesting stuff on the live eps...but yea they're not great...most of what u see is people commenting on "OH OH OH I SAW AN ORB IN THE COURTYARD THAT'S FULL OF DUST FLYING AROUND CAUSE IT'S WINDY!!!" XD that s**t cracked me up...i was just sad to find that they actually believed them...*sigh*

I don't think I have ever seen Grant or jason flip out about orbs in a courtyard. They are very against orbs being evidence of a haunting.

Deamond just stay away from most haunted *shudder* its an insult to spritualists OH, I think I was watching that today. I think it was really funny how they make it soo catholic based. The world will be saved with blessed salts and when "God" accpets a blessing it supposedly smells like roses.

GuardianIceQueen I don't think I have ever seen Grant or jason flip out about orbs in a courtyard. They are very against orbs being evidence of a haunting. they didn't flip out but they believed the people saw orbs rather than dust lol it was the fort DE Halloween ep.

I can't stand Most Haunted or Paranormal State, they are both so lame. What is sad though is when you read comments on the Ghost Hunters myspace pages and twitter and they are like oh you all are the greatest ever. No other ghost investigators compare to you. It's like uh huh, sure.

Paranormal state is pretty bad. Seriously, they are basicly saying that spirits are all demons, and the catholic church is the "ONLY" THING that will save them from their "problem"
