Personality:
Claude; She’s afraid all the time, partially because she can’t see, and because she doesn’t know where she is because she can't see. She tends to go insane when left alone and enjoys company. She doesn't trust people easily and doesn't speak much. While her split persona tends insane and tends to come out at random times without changing, and during her changes.
Sophie; Does seem rather insane, but can see shadows unlike Claude despite the fact that they share the same body. She enjoys the dark, and blood because she likes the way it feels as it runs over her skin. Being strange as she is she enjoys raw and bloody meat but will eat anything- even if she doesn't know what it is. She talks to herself a lot, and seems to understand that even though she share's a body with Claude- she isn't Claude. But Sophie doesn't seem to know how she came to be and quests for her own body so she doesn't have to take care of her 'Wimpy little Claude' since she's a loner.
Character Flaws: Blind. Prone to brief insanity brought on by pain. Can’t control powers, has a split persona. Easily upset and childish. Can’t write, or fight well due to blindness; but can read etched writing easily. Can’t swim, never sleeps when alone and goes from being an innocent to being a psychopath. Her arm weakens her since it lacks the ability to heal at all and opens her to infection. She doesn't travel very much and not very far at all, unless having a fit of madness. She hears voices, that aren't there, sometimes.
Alignment: Neutral.
History:
Claude had been born into a small family, consisting of two siblings and her parents. When she was still young she lost her mother, and so, her sister became a second mother to her.
Raised a normal girl, Claude had many friends- but none whom really knew her. As she rose a frail flower between the cracks in pavement, she was destroyed as one. At the age of nine her older siblings and her had been visiting a family in another country, when their flight home crashed with them in it. From the wreckage it seemed that only Claude had survived. Covered in blood and shrapnel she stood, and through her fingers she saw her brother's mangled body. Laying next to her was her sister, and all around them was the hell she had lived through.
It was then Claude snapped, her frail mind breaking and voices seeping in through its cracks.
Her father, not knowing what to do, sent her to a private school and camps in the summer. But she always came home early just to sit in the corner of her room. At fourteen a viral infection racked her surviving family and herself. Leaving her left arm nearly useless and her eyes damaged. Retreating to her home and her dark little room, things only became worse for Claude.
Her eyes became at the point where even under the brightest lights she could not see, though it didn't bother her- she was lost in her own sorrow. Where before she had kept her sanity with friends and her father, there now was none.
As two years rolled by she began to have break-downs, she blacked out and would wake up not knowing if she was really awake. As she would lie there trying to collect her wits, voices would speak to her- the voices of her dead family, and others as well.
It wasn't until she was nearly eighteen that she ventured back into the light of day. But the streets were a hard place to live and in order to buy food she had to steel and lie, even sell herself in part. The nightmares came as did more black-outs. But still she fought on, hoping, that maybe one day- she could find peace and stop the plagues of her body and even more.
Weapons: Unarmed.
Items: Pen (could be considered a weapon as well).
Abilities: Insanity form; form induced by stress in which the left arms condition spreads all across her body and increases her body strength, speed, endurance, over-all skin and bone strength, physical senses (other then sight and taste) and increasing hearing; while decreasing her vision (both Future and Shadow sight) to a point of uselessness and exposing two major weak points located in her shoulders; state draws on both emotional and built up physical power. After changing back to 'normal' body the marks retreat and temporary coma can set in, or instinct takes over and drives the body to escape; either way, not much energy is left after the change back, however this depends on how much had to be used.
Future sight; small ability allowing small glimpses of the future, both personas use can use it but glimpses are typically random and unimportant. Shadow sight; ability only can be used by Sophie, allows her to see shadows of the things around her but can only be used in her 'normal' body state and in places with light, acts like somewhat functional vision.
Skills: Developed senses of; smell, hearing, and touch due to blindness.
Danger Level: Blue.
Likes: Crowds, plants, and being outdoors, rain.
Dislikes: Being alone, sleeping, and deep-water and lakes, dreams, matrixes, Claude (Sophie greatly dislikes her other persona).
