NOBODY can replace the Rev...But I'm just curious. How will they record their new album?
I'm JUST CURIOUS. Please don't get offended, and think "Is that all she cares about?!"
I know some people can be super duper sensitive...
Just asking. And I really hope A7x is ok during this time.........
I can't imagine what they must be going through right now.
Actually, I do. My beloved grandma died 2 years ago. That was a painful time for my family. God, she was the best...She was 66.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother.
As for a new drummer, I can't really say. Maybe they'll leave the album as it is or not do it all together. Maybe they will get a drummer. No one knows.

Apparently they've already finished the new album however.. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I have them added on my myspace and people have said stuff so..I guess we'll see? As far as finding a new drummer, I do hope that they do because to have a band I recently got into break up, well..that would suck! I can understand if it takes them a while to get someone though, because right now is the time for grieving for them.

As much as I love A7X, I just can't imagine them replacing Jimmy. I mean, he was there from the very beginning. He helped start the band.

Whether they decided to get a new drummer or not I'm sure to the band as well as their fans they NEVER will be able to replace him. Just because there's a new drummer doesn't mean they're replacing him per se.
Do you fans get what I'm saying? They'll never be able to replace him as a friend or a drummer. :3

They're gonna get a new drummer. I mean, think about it, guys. Would Jimmy really want the band just to stop after he died? No. The members think this too. Maybe they'll get a drummer from their old school in Orange County or something. But they'll get a "replacement", for the Rev's name and honor.

Honestly, I love A7X but It just wouldn't be the same w/o one of the greatest drummers in history. It would be like Van Halen without Eddie.

As much as i adore Avenged Sevenfold, i couldn't imagine them without Jimmy.
I've heard that the album was already done, but who really knows.
and if they do break up, they'll still be an amazing band.
