~ Stats

Your stats determine how fast, strong, durable, and even how high you can jump. To raise your stats, you must obtain skill points to add onto your character. Skill points can be obtained by posting. For every 100 words you post, you get one skill point for ranks F-D. Once Reaching C Rank it requires 300 words per stat point, B-rank requires 500 words per stat point and A-rank requires 1000 words per stat point. When you want to add stats or other information to your profile, you fill out the update form in the Profile Update Thread in the Profile Forum, and await a moderator's word.
Everyone is also entitled to one stat switch, where they are allowed to rearrange their stats if they don't feel happy about where they placed them first, but only once, so it'd be wise to use it when one has quite a few stats already.

Stats represent these:
Speed/Agility - How fast a character can move and how fast their reaction time is.
Strength/Endurance - How strong a character's muscle power is and how tough they are.
Stamina - How many times a character can perform tricks and how long they can keep up a battle.
Jump - How well a character can attain lift and how efficient they are in moving in the air.

Tune-ups - Increase the effectiveness of one's AT's, but don't count towards the rider's own abilities at all.

~ Money

The system for money is very similar to that stat system. Basically, it is just 100 words for every 50 Ryo, but you cannot use the same amount of words for both stats and money, it's only one or the other. Ryo is used for buying tune ups from Ring road riders at shops.

~ Shop Owning / Tuner

To be a tuner you need to be following the Ring Road. For every 3 stat points that a rider of the Ring road has in a skill, they can add tune ups on other people's air treks by that much. For instance, if a rider of the Ring Road has 9 speed, 18 strength, 27 stamina, and 36 jump, then they can add 3 speed, 6 strength, 9 stamina, and 12 jump to another rider's air treks. The Ring road riders can put make their own prices on their own items. Shop owners can also trade 500 ryo for one stat point.

Also, you can't just go to a Ring Road rider and then run out with an upgraded Air Trek. For every stat that the Ring Road rider wishes to add on to your Air Trek, it will take 100 words from them working on it. Also, when creating your store, make sure you post your stats or how much you can tune up people's air treks. The store is where tune ups must take place. And no, you can not sell actual equipment or anything like that.

There are other other certain rules against tuning:
1) You aren't allowed to tune other tuners, and you can't tune yourself, though you are allowed to tune your other characters. What that means is if you only have one character and they are a tuner, then you can't tune yourself, but if you have more than one character, you are allowed to tune the one that isn't a tuner.
2) You can only tune a character once per update. Meaning, that if you tune someone, you can't tune them again until you update your RPC. This applies to everybody, so you can tune everyone once, but if you don't update, then you can't tune until you do.

~ Ranks

There are 6 ranks in the world of Air Treks. The ranks go from A to F. Being rank A signifies that you are one of the best. Being rank F signifies that you are only a starter Air Trekker. The point of gaining ranks is so that you can have a higher skill cap and get stronger. To gain ranks, you have to reach the skill minimum. Every rank has a skill minimum and here they are:

Rank - Skill Cap - Skill Minimum

Rank A - Unlimited - 150 Points
Rank B - 149 - 90 Points
Rank C - 89 - 70 Points
Rank D - 69 - 50 Points
Rank E - 49 - 30 Points
Rank F - 29 - None

~ Battling

When battling, both teams or people must agree to the terms. First of all, you must choose if it's a one-on-one battle or if it is a team battle. The winner gets 25% more word count and the loser only gets 10%, as does a draw. For instance, if there was a battle and the winner did 2000 words, he would get get a bonus of 500. The loser would only get a 200 word bonus.

For all battles and Parts War, it isn't needed to wear AT's. If you want to RP without them on, then you may do so, but if all the while you RP without AT's, your character's Speed and Jump are divided in half.

~ Territory

To own territory you are going to need to have a team first. If you have a team that has been accepted then you can start taking territory. To take territory, you need to check to see if the territory is taken already. You can tell by looking at the first page of the topic. If the topic says that the territory is taken, you can challenge the team for their emblem or just the territory. If you challenge a team, then they have 2 days to respond before the territory is given to you. If the territory is not taken, then you can just easily take it for yourself without no problem. You must post in that area you want to take it / battle for it, and your post must be at least 500 words if you are claiming territory, even if you are putting your team sticker over another. When you post for claiming an area, you must also actually say that you take it for your team. When you own a territory, you get a 10% stat bonus when fighting in your area. You also get a 10% experience bonus when fighting in your territory.

~ Jailing

If you are beaten in battle and captured by the ATP, then you are sentenced to 48 hours in jail. If you suffer heavy injuries in battle, then you may choose to spend your sentence in a city hospital instead of the ATP jail. You may pay a bail for 1000 ryo and you must have the ryo with you already. Another person may pay bail for you too. And yes, you are allowed ONE phone call to get a person to pay your bail. Once when you are beaten, you must choose your bailer then.
