ALovedTwilight (8:52:31 PM): Faye: -was a little apprehensive about finding Youko, but she had a few questions about... well... boys, but more importantly boys parents, and to put it bluntly she was terrified to even let on that she was dating to her father. That left the perverse creature himself. She wrung her hands in her skirt uncertainly, peeking around the tree standing by Youko's usual haunt. How did she get to ask this, what if he got mad?-
Asharadine (8:59:44 PM): Youko: *sitting up in his usual tree, his long thin pipe protruding from his lips a thing tendril of smoke issuing from the corner of his mouth making delicate spirals above his silvery head. His well groomed and glistening tail hung carefully out of his nook twitching faintly at the tip. His golden eyes closed has he hummed quiantly to himself, his mind slipping over one thing to the next, never fully grapsing any thought that passed over his mind, letting them come and go like the waves of water at the ocean, coming and going only to return again. He sensed the little kitten below and peeked an eye open, an ear twitching, listening. He loosed a hand from the inside of his silk kimono and hung it out of the fork gesturing for her to come up* Come on, I don't bite...-hard- *whispering his last word*
ALovedTwilight (9:04:58 PM): Faye: -jumped when she heard the males voice, wringing her hands in her dress more, and biting hard on her cheek. She debated turning and running now, but knew that once Youko had noticed her it would just be easier to get it on with. Her mum had taught her that. Gulping she dug her claws into the tree and made her way up, staying well away from the male she rarely if ever spoke to, but her sister had an affinity towards. - Unc... -Faye stopped herself, chewing on her lip more, was she aloud to use Raina's pet name for their leader... somehow she didn't think so.- Master Youko... I have a question. -even though she said it with the utmost respect Faye still felt informal, her usual composure just a bit... off. She didn't feel like the princess she had always felt she was.-
Asharadine (9:10:43 PM): Youko: *smiles at Faye as she settles herself a distance from him, he carefully took the pipe from his mouth and tapped out the contents over the side of the tree, from there he checked to be sure everything had come loose and had gone, it was indeed clean, he had packed it well as usual. Sitting up his long hair fell forward like a wave of molten silver, brushign back his bangs he replaced the delicate pipe in a small case and snapped it shut* Child, you need not use such formalities with me. You're much to young for that and your sisters certainly do not call me Master at any time. Uncle is just fine. *he smiled sitting back again, bring up his tail and running his long fingers through the soft coat and picking through to rid himself of any loose hairs that need be shed* But what seems to be troubling you, something that you feel you can not go to your parents for so you've come to me. *he smiled up at her sweetly*
ALovedTwilight (9:21:27 PM): Faye: -blushes and looks away, hand unconsciously going to the necklace Toshiro had made for her. She had to ask or she would always wonder, and that would only damage their relationship in the long run. She winced and began talking very softly- I met this person... and he's became my... best friend. But his daddy... he doesn't like me. I thought he would because his name is Anbu, like... here, but he seems to hate that I live here and that his son is friends with me. -bites her lip and trailed off, Faye closed her eyes, trying her best not to remember that probing, icy glare she had received when he found out where she lived, who she was. It wasn't fair, when Faye didn't even know herself who she was., but Faye didn't want to even go into that discussion right now... it would only end badly, or be completely avoided, as it usually was with her mother.- I just want to know... why he seems to hate me.
Asharadine (9:28:54 PM): Youko: *he listened contently until the name Anbu stuck his ears like a loud gong being stuck in the middle of a long silent hall, echoing over and over until finally fading away into the nothingness but the sound still would ring in ones ears for some time before it would truly fade* Anbu...well dear, Anbu used to be one of us and he betrayed us by leaving our ranks. In true tradition he should have been killed for such a thing. When one commits themself to the Anbu is meant to be a life-long commitment. He did not fulfill this commitment. He resents us for what we do and who we are, and just as well I believe to this day he holds a personal grudge against myself as well. Knowing you are a part of our group be in through blood or association he aligns you with me and thus he holds a harshness towards you. *he said as though speaking with someone much older than Faye* Tell me little one...do you wish to remain here withing the conbines of the Anbu camp as your territory for the rest of your life?
ALovedTwilight (9:38:54 PM): Faye: -listens intently, face falling drastically at the decision. It... was going to come between... Toshiro and her family? b-but how could she decide that? The girl felt horribly young and vulnerable, drawing her knees up to her chest and looking below her, unable to even look at Youko- I... I don't want to loose my family... but ... I don't want to have to be anywhere for my whole life. -Faye felt unable to describe what was going on inside of her. Her heartbeat fluttered and then stopped, it felt off beat almost. Give up... her love, or give up her family. She searched in her mind for the book title that she had once read from her mums stash.... what was it? The image of the balcony scene filled her mind wispy and dream like. Romeo and Juliet. Faye felt like laughing, felt like crying, but somehow was glad she had never finished that story.- Even if I leave, it wont change how he feels a bout me. -her words were bitter, far older then Faye felt at that moment, she was just... weary now tired down to her marrow- I want to be with him, but I don't want either of us to have to choose. All I want, is to be together, to be free. -the girl chewed on her lip still looking down, hiding behind the moonlit strands trying her best... not to simply run away. Because she felt if she did... she would be her whole life-
Asharadine (9:48:52 PM): Youko: Well, you are not being forced to choose such a thing, you are free to remain here and never truly take part in being one of the Anbu, and just as well we you can stay be a part of the Anbu. Either way, neither of said choices can sway where you choose your mate to reside. My own son, though I don't very well think he considers me any more than the leader of the territory and the head of the group as well as a rival to over-come later in his life, he has found someone for himself outside of East. *he picked at his fur carefully and nonchalantly and inspecting his fingertips and his claws, his eys never truly looking up at the girl. It was not his place to tell her what to do, but he would give her his own honest opinion* Truly you are far to young to go choosing yourself a mate, but it is also not my place to judge or for that matter tell you what to do with your life. I can merely tell you my own opinions and whether you heed what I tell you or disregard me completely is on you. *he waved his hand* But hear me out, running does one no good, because once you start you never stop, and eventually no matter how hard you try what you ran away from will come back to get you regardless of the safeguards you put up. That is a plain fact of life.
ALovedTwilight (10:02:29 PM): Faye: -sighs and fidgets. This was the exact reason why she didn't go to her mother or father about this, no one seemed to understand these things- I... haven't chosen him, not yet. I may be young but im not stupid. -Faye jutted out her jaw in that stubborn matter, looking up at the male through her hair, very much like her mother in that moment- Im not like my sisters, im not like Raina or Saeriel, who clearly belong here, who coincidently got born into the place they will always belong... I want to wander, I want to travel, I want to go places without people labeling me as one thing or another... I want immunity to conflicts because of some rivaling thing going on. -faye looked away again, once more letting her safety blanket fall into place, her moment of cold anger taken away. One big difference between her and her mum's anger is Faye's burned out quickly... she just couldn't hold a grudge- I don't like being hated because of who I am... when I don't even know who I am Master Youko.
