This entire first post had been edited.
There was a suggestion by Psalm Grasshopper that perhaps, because those ninety-nine threads were deleted, and all that time that we put into it was coldly erased, that a re-naming of the guild might be in order. She suggested 'Rebirth,' or something similar. 'From the Ashes' would symbolize a phoenix being reborn, and was also the Summon of our last guild captain, Kyou Nitsune. It seemed fitting, seeing as over half the guild was gone anyway, to rename it.
Now, we're not trying to force this upon anyone, and sorry if it came across that way in the first place. XD The question here is, does anyone really want the guild's name changed?
So here it is. Change it, or not?
We're open to opinions, so feel free to post. However, we won't be keeping track of name suggestions until we discover whether or not you guys even want the name changed.

I might be new, but I like the name "From the Ashes."
The metaphor of the Phoenix is widely recognized and powerful, and the fact that it has internal significance as well gives it more appeal.

I'd say "from the Ashes" has the best ring too it, however it feels more like a chapter rather than a Title of a book.
Kingdom Hearts Rebirth :- "From the Ashes..."
that has a punch too it!
My vote goes with Ashes on this, or, Ashes of Rebirth ?

How about "A Brave Journey"? Not only for the KH theme, but for everyone's bravery, strength, and determination for continuing after our meldtown.

I like "Rebirth" and "Brave Journey" the best. both have a very Kingdom Hearts feel to them.

I like Rebirth and From the Ashes.
I'm gonna think of an idea or two of my own, but right now nothing's coming to me except lame and dorky names. And one thing in Latin that I don't even know if I'm pronouncing right, 'cause it's been years since I've studied Latin. Go figure. XP

I really have no right to put my say in. Ever since I have joined I have just sat around and look pretty, despite my love for KH and and RP'ing. However after getting messages from this guild about this terrible ordeal, I have somehow actually mustered up the fire to start RP'ing in this guild, so some of you can defintely expect me in some of your RP's, and if you want my opinion, which no one really shouldn't, I like "From the Ashes".

Alright, everyone, I'm going to put up the poll... but I think we have a problem with one of the choice.
Kingdom Hearts: Rebirth is already a guild. As a matter of fact, Rebirth has been used for at least 4 different guilds. We don't want to blend in, we wish to stand out. As such, I'm removing the option of 'Rebirth'. If, however, there is a substantial amount of votes still wanting it as a part of the poll, I'll add it.
My sincerest apologies to Psalm. >< I just don't feel right using a name that's already been used multiple times before.

Pfft. Sory, the first one that comes up is Kingdom Hearts .:Rebirth:. and it has 298 posts, 4 members, and hasn't been posted in since June of 2007. Their homepage still says 'under construction'.
The second one is Kingdom Hearts~Rebirthing and it has 390 posts, 5 members, and most of its forums don't even have topics created in them. No one has even role played there- ever. The homepage is also empty.
Organization XIII: Rebirth, The New Beginning has posts in it and looks active. However, it's focused on Nobodies and doesn't even have Kingdom Hearts in the title. (around 6000 posts)
KingdomHearts:Organization XIII Twisted Rebirth has a long and drawn out title. Once again we find the "Organization XIII" theme thrown in. It looks active, but has half as many posts as the last guild (330 cool .
Kingdom Hearts Rebirthing Project has 12 posts, 2 members, and one line of text on the homepage.
Organization 13, The Rebirth of The Heart has 161 posts, and 6 members. One of it's official threads is titled "CYBERING/HOW REAL WE ARE" and goes on to explain that cybering is allowed. (I'm betting we could just get this guild removed by reporting them)
Now, judging from all of that, I'd say these so called guilds took a good idea for a name, and ruined it. We could ROCK the "Kingdom Hearts: Rebirth" title. Rock it, I say. It's an awesome name suggestion that shouldn't be discredited because some inactive/organization obsessed/cybering people threw the name into their guild titles.
I really like the title. Sorry if I'm coming across a bit strong. xD
