Welcome to Your New Curriculum.

The Role-playing School is what exactly what it says, a school for those who want to learn how to role-play or advance their skills.
Our goal is to be a friendly and fun environment, but that does not mean the teachers will not stop being teachers.
Just go to the enrollment thread and fill out the necessary skeleton, post it and a teacher will stop by and tell you what thread to start in.
(If you were contacted by a mod, then you already know.)
I’m looking forward to meeting you all!

-Moderator Chi

Some of the rules, character sheets, lessons and others were borrowed from the old threads.
I want to say, thank you for posting these and that I want to continue using your great examples.

As you can see, we have different threads for different levels of Literacy.
Here, I’ll give you the thread name, the literacy level and the goals for each thread.
Role-plays with each sign are a certain level-

[1] – Level one role-plays are for beginners.
[2]- Level two role-plays are for people to become semi-literates, which is to help achieve the guild’s three sentence post rule.
[3]- Level three role-plays are for people who want to learn how to post more than three sentences and become more descriptive.
[A] – Level A role-plays are for people interested in becoming advanced literate.

With every level come different expectations and rules. After a teacher feels like you surpass each level’s expectation you can graduate to the next level. When you graduate, you can go to the next level. The minimum level gradation you can have to stop coming to the school is level two.

Expectations and goals per level is:

[1]- You will learn the basics of role-playing and the use of proper grammar.
[2]- You will learn how to master the basics of grammar and continue on how to be more descriptive to reach our goal of posting three sentences per post.
[3]- You will be the best you can with grammar and description. With a level three role-play you will learn how to post 2-3 paragraphs.
[A] With advanced role-plays, you learn how to express a character more, the area around you and how your character interacts with another. The goal for this is at least posting 3+ paragraphs ( 200 or more words ) per post.

Character development can make you enjoy not only your RPC better, but a role-play as well. If you are having trouble with making a character – or feel you need to take a step away from your usual character personality – with a possibility brought to you by Wonder in Artland, you can learn how to make original and fun characters! With this, her goal ( along with the fellow teachers ) to help people stop making “Mary Sues” or clichéd characters. You will get all the information about these two types of characters on her thread. Make sure to read all of her rules before posting / asking for help.
