An Hour passed.. Then Another.. Then another.. Slowly timed moved on, and people continued to walk by a little boy who sat on a bench all alone. It was weird, how no one cared to stop to see what was the matter.. But this was Durem.. Not many people wanted to use up their time to see if the little brown-haired child needed any help.. Especially when the boy seemed so.. Happy..
It was the first time Irae was taken out of the house since his mom picked him up from the Azoulai's. The day was cold, way colder than normal, yet he was still outside with his normal shorts, the only difference was that a think coat was over top of his T-shirt, along with a pair of raggedy earmuffs, over what seemed to be a head set. As he sat on the bench, he kicked his little legs back and forth, just knowing that his mom would return to get him.. She Promised!
And Yet.. Another Hour passed by.. Still no sign of her... But he just KNEW that deep down within his mother's programmed heart, she loved him, and would return for him!

Marika sat on the ground, protected from the sun's bright unforgiving rays by the shade of the tree she was seated under. That, and the hooded cloak that protected her from the cold. She was all smiles and, ironically, sunshine, playing with her little Zurg while her little boy toddled off to the play. What a perfectly lovely day!
The little vampling toddled his way along, silvery eyes looking around at all the sights. Wow, there were so many things here! His eyes caught on something, and he made his way towards the object. He walked up to the bench, looking up at the boy who sat there. "What those?" he asked, pointing to the ear muffs. He'd never seen those before!

Irae was beyond startled when someone other than his mother came up to talk to him. To address his ear muffs as well! He scooted his frozen little bum to the edge of the seat, then looked at the little boy, tilting his head. "Is Ear muff! Dey keep my ears warm."
He looked as if he wanted to move from his bench, but somehow, he knew his mom would scold him if he left if when she specifically told him to stay in place. "I is Irae. What's uu name?" The little vocaloid boy tilted his head to the side, scooting back so that his feet just barely hung off the edge of the bench.

"Why need? Not cold." Jeron said, confused. Then again, to the little fella, it wasn't that cold. He didn't understand why everyone else, his sister included, were so bundled up. It was perfect weather out here! The little halfy shrugged; people were weird.
"I Jey-won." Jeron proclaimed proudly, jabbing his thumb at his chest. He glanced around a moment, then looked back to this new-Irae-persony person infront of him. "Why sit here all alone? Is boring." he stated, tilting his head. "Come play?"

"It cold!! See? I see mai bweaf." Irae breathed out a puff of air, watching it float away. It rose and dispersed all over the air above him. "See? It make my warm bweaf fweeze."
"Jeywon a nice name!" He came back to the edge of the bench, swinging his legs back and forth. "No.. i no Play.. I sit wait for mommy.. If I go, she no see me, and she be mad.."

"It not cold." Jeron said, looking a bit confused. He was perfectly comfortable out here in his thin little windbreaker and t-shirt. He breeather out experimentally, watching the faint little mist float up into the grey, cloud-engulfed sky.
"C'mon. You play! We play by the bench. Then oor mommy still see you, and won't be mad!" He reasoned, offering a big, cheesy grin. Hey, that logic made sense to him. "I can go get ball, and we can play here." The burgandy-haired boy nodded, looking up to the other boy before offering a hand. "I help down; is high up there."

Another shiver ran down the infant's spine, his tiny hands going up to his mouth. He blew the warm air into them, rubbing them together.
"We pway..? okay.. As long as mommy can see me.." The boy who was with him, Jeron, he was so nice to him! He hopped down for his seat, waiting eagerly to play.

Jeron blinked as the boy shivered again. He didn't think it was that cold. Still... "Here." he said, smiling as he slipped out of his little jacket and held it out to the other boy. "It keep you warm."
Being the impatient little boy he was, he didn't wait long for the other child to take the windbreaker, choosing instead to wrap it around his shoulders like Mommy did with him sometimes. "Wait here. I go get ball!" he said, smiling before scrambling back to where his mother sat to get his soccer ball. "Got it!" the little maroon-haired boy said, grinning as he came toddling back.

A jacket? And someone else gave it to him? It was the first time anyone did anything so nice for him! It took away the bitter sting of the wind around him. His indigo gaze followed Jer as he ran to his mother's side, and a wave of sadness hit him.. "Mommy.."
When the boy returned, he hopped off the bench and kneeled down. "Um.. How we pway?"

Jeron paused a moment. "Dunno. Throw to each other and catch?" he suggests, smiling. He wasn't used to having another playmate; Caro was so boring and Mommy liked board games too much. "Or we can kick the ball, or roll it, or.....or something!"
Jeron lifted the ball, tossing it to his new-found playmate. "Play!" he chirped, grinning.

Another Squeak emerged from Irae's lips as the ball was tossed at him. Crud crud crud!! What was he supposed to do?!!
Luckily, the basic instinct that all kids had kicked in and he streched his arms out wide in attempt to catch the ball. Unfortunately, he missed, the ball rolling out of his reach. He looked around, to make sure his mom wasn't on her way to get him, then made his way to get the ball.
"Ish.. Ish dis right?"

"I think so." Jeron said, smiling. "Throw back! I catch and throw to you, and then you throw to me! Easy peasy!" Well, it sounded easy, anyway. He had no idea how hard catching a ball could be, though he was starting to get an inkling of it.
There was a flash as Marika took a picture of the two babies. Aww, they were so adorable!

"Okies! I get it! I fink, but we just gotta keep twying!" For the first time in a while, Irae was genuinely excited! He was going to learn a new game!! Maybe He and Mr. Pinny could play it when he was home alone.
When the light flashed, the little vocaloid baby squeaked, jumped up. "No no no!! Pickies take souls!!"
