Snow White... TWO!!
A Fuzzy Slipper Game!

User Image

Snow White is Disney's very first fully animated movie, and is a classic work of animted cinema that set the mold for years to come. It was made in 1937, and to this day, it is one of the only Disney Classics that has not suffered the fate of a bad sequel. ((Granted, SOME disney sequels are actually decent, but the majority of them are poor knockoffs or inversions of the original story)).

SO! The point of this Game is for you to pitch to us a Snow White II. >3

Basic Rundown:
Prize: Snow White! (see above)
Cost: Free!
Deadline: January 31, 2010, 8pm CST

How to Play

In a run down, pitch us an idea for a Snow White Sequel. It can be funny, laughily bad or campy, or an honest-to-god serious proposal.

It can be in any format - just a written description/pitch, storyboarded, anything! Go nuts and and have fun :3

Winners will be judged based on creativitiy, and, well, what leaves an impression, since your genre can be serious or comedic.

Mine is kind of... dark. XD;;

It involves Snow White waking up an a asylum, realising that the forest animala and dwarves was all a dream. Her best friends are Alice, a girl that claims to have gone to a world called Wonderland, and Wendy, who says that she's flown to Neverland. Together, they have to figure out how to escape...

My idea for a sequel goes basically like this:

Snow White and the Prince have been together for a few years, and they have a young daughter together, a girl of three who is just as beautiful as her mother. However, she has become dissatisfied with her marriage. Ever since she has had her child- and her radiant youth has faded with the pregnancy- the Prince has become cold and somewhat distant. She comes to see that he never really loved her; rather, he simply was infatuated with her looks. And the cold reality of it sets in on her; after all, compassion for a stranger doesn't make you kiss what's seemingly a corpse. When the Prince starts arranging a marriage for their daughter, making deals with much older men for a marriage by proxy that would entail the girl going to live with him when she was grown up, Snow White realizes that her daughter will not go to a man who really loves her, either; no, her daughter is just a political pawn, empowered by her father's land and her mother's legendary beauty. So, she does the one thing she can think to do; go back to the dwarves...

Who may or may not be happy to see her again. After all, she did just sort of disappear from their lives on the back of a handsome prince's horse after they'd looked after her for so very long, and really it was her own fault in the first place for not listening to them. Can coals of their long-cold paternal affection be rekindled when they meet the little snowflake? Turns out that they can, but they've been hurt deeply, and they've realized that they can't protect Snow forever. They help her set up for herself, and she learns how to live on her own, independent and strong. She learns to make a life for herself and her daughter, and she finds a man who loves her for who she is inside. She learns about her own inner strength, and what it means to really be a good mother to one's child. She learns about the different kinds of true love and what true love really means, and most importantly, she learns that you have to make your own happily ever after.

Broken and battered the Queen craws away to hide and heal. Angered at the gross over generalizations Disney and his writers used in her lines and general treatment she decides to take action. Going to work she researches Disney's other mega hits and seeks out villains who have likewise been made to feel more like two dimensional and mere a plot devices to move the story forward than real people.

Honestly if you believed Disney you'd think all stepmothers were evil incarnate. Besides one person's evil is another person's good. Often what is good and what is evil is subjective.

With the likes of Cinderella's stepmother, Madam Mim, and Maleficent , they develop a spell to transport themselves to the real universe and take the writing team hostage. They refuse to let them go, forcing them to watch mind numbing children's television like the Teletubbies and Barny until they are willing to give villains more realistic portrayals.

After riding off with her prince, Snow White became his queen and lived happily ever after. For a while at least.

A few years had past and they now had a young daughter. Unlike her mother who was gifted with un-mensurable beauty, she was not given that gift. Even at a young age, her skin was not fair and pale as snow as her mothers, nor was her hair smooth as silk. As she grew, i didn't fair well for her. Her black hair grew long but frizzy and course, teeth looking to big for her mouth yet they still grew fairly straight. She wasn't lean like her mother, having a fuller body. Her facial skin full of small bumps that would flame angrily at times and off set her blue eyes.

Over the years her parents worried about her. She was indeed different, possibly the only princess of her sorts. They had tried to do what they could, find healers and magicians in the hopes they could heal what ever demon might be causing this to they're daughter. But he repeated answer they received was 'its just the way she is.' How was she going to get her happily ever after? Who would want her when there were many much more beautiful princesses out there?

Trying to do what was best for her, when she grew into her early teens, they tried to arrange a marriage for her, saying it was 'for the best of they're kingdom'. Two more years passed, with many declined offers. It was beginning to look hopeless for they're daughter and they're kingdom.

While all this was going on, they're daughter stayed rather quiet. Pretty much hidden away from the kingdom, she didn't have many friends. She wasn't allowed out on the grounds much either, though want one to listen to the rules much. Whenever she could, she would sneak out to the stables to be with the horses. One thing she did inherit from her mother was her ability to commune with animals.

Most of the time she wasn't alone in the stables though, what she didn't know of was that the stable hand had a son, that regularly helped him in his work. He was a year older then the princess and tended to stay away from her. It wasn't for the reason her parents hid her away though, he was just relatively shy. One day when she had stopped by unexpectedly, not at her normal time, she ran right into him. Both being shy, conversation was uneasy at first, but the more they talked, the more they got to know each other, and see how much alike they were.

A friendship started from that day, and who knows what time would bring. But a princess would never be allowed to be with a stable hand...would she?
