Ryoujin lived in an orphanage since before he could remember. While living there be became best friends with a girl a
few years his junior, named Dacia. Having a friendly demeanor himself, Dacia's standoffish personality didn't bother
Ryoujin and they became quick friends. He always looked after her as if she were his little sister. Although he is an
outgoing person, Dacia is the only person that he has shown all the ranges of his emotion to. They were never
separated until he turned 15 and was adopted by a kind Korean family. Before leaving the orphanage, he gave Dacia a
silver lock with an 'R' engraved in it so that she would never forget him. He hasn't been able to find or contact
Dacia since being adopted, but hopes to one day see her again.
Since Ryoujin was extremely thankful to his adoptive parents for taking him in and treating him as their own, he has
worked hard to excel in school. He also loves athletics and was part of his High School swim team. Wanting to stay
on the swim team helped him to keep his grades up, so he spent many nights studying. It would take effort for him to
absorb and remember information and facts. After graduating High School, he went to the local Cooking Academy in
order to gain more knowledge about food. He specialized in pastries and directly after graduating became an
apprentice to a pastry chef. He hopes one day to own a bakery of his own.
On his off time he continues to swim in order to relax and stay fit. He is a kind person and loves his work because he
is able to make people smile through providing sweet foods. He has a key fetish because he believes that there is
nothing that cannot be obtained through hard work and diligence. Anything can be 'unlocked' and there are no closed
doors if one has a goal. His left forearm is tattooed with the Japanese character for 'fight' to help remind him to keep
going and to look toward the future.
