** Things that we do not accept as one of your two flaws: too stubborn (unless it presents legitimate problems and doesn't just make them look badass), too clumsy, too shy (unless they are so shy they can and will be bullied by other characters), anything physical (these are personality flaws), phobias (unless it hinders their life in a way that is not cute or comical) or anything that makes them seem more badass rather than flawed.
What we look for in flaws are actual flaws. Something that makes your character unappealing in some regard and even weak. Jealousy is a flaw, for example; it makes people look petty.
You are not restricted to only two flaws / strengths, but we need at least two. Your character is free to be clumsy, stubborn, etc., they just won't count toward the two flaws you need to have. Basically, we need two strengths / flaws and you can do whatever else you'd like. This will help us better pair dragons to candidates in the future.

Things to note...
- Submitting a character does not mean you can RP. They must be approved. When they are, "approved" will appear in the title. If something needs to be changed, a staff member will post what it is. We frequently visit to check for new apps, and if for some reason we don't, feel free to (politely) prod a staff member qualified to approve you to go take a look when you see them in the thread.
- Characters can not be played as dragonriders, wherhandlers or firelizard owners unless you have been given one. They can, however, be former bonded to any of the three.
- Realism is a must with appearance. We will be more loose than canon (so there may be more blondes for example), but no pink hair, no red eyes. Nothing like that.
- Both modern names (Debera, Thomas, Fiona) and more fantasy-sounding names (Lessa, Jaxom, Xhinna) are applicable. However, there are no last names.
- Characters with mental illnesses will not be Searched and will not Impress. They are allowed, though.
- Currently, we are restricting the use of HAD (Hear All Dragons).
Hints and Tips
- Do not tell us how your character makes other people feel. It is up to the players of the characters you RP with how they feel, not you. (Ex: So-and-so scares everyone ever every time he coughs.) Putting down "could be" traits is fine. (Ex: So-and-so might seem intimidating if you're a shy type of person.)
- Be aware of your characters upbringing and be realistic about it. A Weyrbrat will probably not be a crusader for anti-homosexuality rallies. Likewise, not all Holders will be as comfortable with the concept of mating flights if they Impress. We are not boxing you in or saying you can only do this. Just be realistic about it.

Notice!
Character applications that need revision can now have the staff notes PMed to the player instead of posted.
We realize some people are shy and don't want inaccuracies pointed out publicly.
Just put "PM crit" at the top of your thread.
If the app is 100% fine you will get approved same as everyone else.
