Davies wanted to do a Star Trek crossover, you may have read the interview: Quote: I would have loved to have done a Star Trek crossover. The very first year, we talked about it. Then Star Trek finally went off air. Landing the Tardis on board the Enterprise would have been magnificent. I think that would have been a bad move (even if part of me would have giggled like a little boy by seeing it). But it made me think of what crossovers would be fun and suitable for "Doctor Who." My first thought is to put Gordon Shumway (Alf) in an episode. Like the Doctor, his planet was destroyed, is the last of his kind, and spent a lot of time on Earth. He is supposed to be silly and real and has a lot of personality. It would work perfectly. What are your ideas?

... You would prefer an Alf crossover over a Star Trek one...? Are you out of your mind!?
Seriously, though. A Doctor Who/Star Trek: Voyager crossover would be amusing, since they both have characters called "The Doctor". I could see that being like, a short comedy thing sort of like a Children in Need thing or something. And of course, it would have been very interesting to have the Doctor meet Q. The Time Lords and the Q Continuum were kind of similar, when you think about it. Some obvious differences, but still.
Another one that lots of people like is Stargate/Doctor Who. So many possibilities there. It's just too bad Stargate SG1 went so far downhill before it finally ended. So many bad story decisions... *weeps for Daniel and the Asgard*
A personal favorite idea of mine is Doctor Who/Bill and Ted. I mean, seriously. Made of win. If I was better at being funny, I'd write a fanfic.

Rose Tylor told 9 she wanted more spock, therefore ST already exists as fiction in the Doctor Who universe.

Yes, but didn't he also imply that it was real? Although I think he was just teasing her. ;P

I like star trek, I love star wars, but I don't think it would be good to mix them with Who. Alf wouldn't have the same 'cool' factor but he wouldn't feel out of place or contrived. I agree about Stargate being a good idea.

The show that had Alf in it stressed all the actors out because the floor of every set had a million different trap doors so the puppeteers could maneuver Alf around the room. I wouldn't dare impose that kind of stress on the Doctor.

Doctor of Gallifrey My first thought is to put Gordon Shumway (Alf) in an episode. Wait, you folks aren't talking about Alf, the 80's TV show about a somewhat annoying alien living with your stereotypical American sitcom family, right? Talk about ancient. I'm not generally too keen on crossovers, but if they were going to do one, I'd want Doctor Who meets Law & Order: UK. That way Freema Agyeman can play three different characters on the show, all of whom look exactly like Martha.

Anyone mentioned a crossover with Star Wars, yet?
Ok then. hmm'. either Saw or Debbie Does Dalis. Would love a crossover in to Avatar. He could show up in the first 5mins and explain he had just been to the future and then goes on to explain the ending of the movie.

I've started writing a cross-over of Doctor Who with the His Dark Materials trilogy and the Warriors Orochi games.

I've actually done some fanfic crossovers with some of my favorite book series and TV shows. I've written Bones and House MD. I'm working on a Doctor Who/House of Night crossover. I want to write a Harry Potter crossover, but I think it's already been done too much.

rofl. Pokemon? Let's see the Doctor make sense out of that one. I didn't even know there was Law & Order: UK. does it still have that "doink doink" noise? I'm gonna have to look that up.
