Earth has become a nuclear fallout haven. Those living now are not sure what the year is, nor when the hammer fell. The hole earth is drenched in fallout from atomic bombs, and is a complete desert, no green vegetation in sight. Those who live now survived because their ancestors lived in government supplied, or privatly owned, bomb shelters deep under the Earth. Those who never made it into shelters died, or have lived in even worse conditions. Most locations of water are over-whelmed with radiation. Most animals have been contaminated and mutated into monstorous creatures.
The current location is what used to be Montana, close to the 49th parallel.
The populations are as listed:
Straglers: those few people not mutated, just making it around the place for themselves, looking for food, water, shelter, any means of survival
Bandits: Those humans who are not mutated, but make due by taking from others, even if it means taking lives.
Ogres: Mutated beings, large, muscular, and angry. they very in colour, but are generally unintelagable, however the odd cheiftan is quite smart
Bi-mutants: Creatures, in this case humans, who have been fused with another creature, their DNA and and body fusing together. Bi-mutants are often, and usually, ridden from civilizations by the population in said civilization
Green-peace soldiers: Humans who fight for the re-vegetation of all of the world, one region at a time. They aswell fight against enemies of the state, trying to bring peace among the people
