Profiles here might run a little differently than in other guilds. Here, everyone gets their own thread. That way, if someone makes a lot of characters (like I tend to do), they'll all be in the same place and easy for people to find. Title the thread something relevant, please.
We will PM if you if we see something wrong. Please don't take offense.
A few guidelines (THESE ARE IMPORTANT):
∘ Again, each person creates their own personal profile thread. Do not post your profile here.
∘ Anime/drawn images only. If you use a real person's image, I will ask you to change it. But when you pick an anime image, don't use an overly popular one like Naruto or Bleach. That's just annoying and unoriginal.
∘ Do not stretch the page with large images.
For Patients/Experimentees
∘ Don't go overboard on the powers. You should have one or two main, with maybe smaller 'secondary' powers that relate to the main. Don't expect to bust or blow your way out of the lab right off the bat. It's not happening.
∘ Keep in mind, while creating your character, that they may have arrived as a normal human, but woke up with unknown powers. They could've been altered by the people in the lab, and would then have to slowly discover what changes happened to them and what they've been changed into. They don't need to understand everything instantly about themselves. In fact, they shouldn't. On the other hand, they could wake up as they were before, with no alterations, and already know about themselves.
∘ Nobody remembers how they got there. Nor do they have any idea how they were tricked/caught. This is a strict rule. Breaking it, and giving your character some unfounded knowledge advantage, is not allowed. Also keep in mind that patients have just arrived and woken up in a strange place, with their cell door open. They are not trapped.
∘ There currently is not a limit on how many characters you can make.
∘ There is a section in the profiles called Danger Level. This is the character's potential to be deadly. Use your best judgment, incorporating the character's personality as well as powers and skills, and their ability to control their power. You may only pick one color. If your character switches forms, pick a color for their potential danger level.
The scale goes like this (pay attention to the examples for each to help you along) :
Black - the subject is highly powerful, dangerous, and difficult to control (PM me or ^Jaymee^Raine^ for approval)
> > extremely destructive and mentally unbalanced, unable to be talked down from a situation, no inhibitions, psychopathic, or has no accessible conscience
Red - the subject is dangerous and likely to cause destruction, but only loses control when specific stimulation is induced (stress, blood, etc)
> > the power involves a berserk side, brought out by some sort of trigger
Blue - the subject poses a threat to others but may or may not be able to control their power fully
> > shape shifting on command, elemental use where the patient can create their own and doesn't need a source
Green - the subject can increase others vulnerability to fatal attacks, but is not necessarily fatal on their own, and they can control their powers
> > powers that cause others to feel ill, weak or otherwise inhibited
Yellow - the subject has a low risk level with a non-fatal power, or must have certain requirements met in order to use their power
> > a water/other element user who needs that element nearby, enhanced strength/attributes
White - the subject is harmless or even helpful with their power, and is meant more for self-enhancement, with little destructive ability
> > healing, flight, regeneration, telepathy, astral projection, enhanced jumping, speed, or another self-enhancing thing that isn't actually harmful
For Scientists/Researchers
∘ There will be no DIRECT interaction with the patients/experimentees for a while. Do not let the patients know they are being watched, or give them hints that they are part of an experiment.*
∘ You may RP with other scientist/researcher characters and on occasion. Although the patients and reseachers are completely seperate from each other for now, the researchers can remotely observe any patient at any time.
∘ You may leave the The Facility at times (to go out with other researchers, date them, take a break, buy things, whatever the case may be), but each researcher's life should center around the "project". The majority of their time should be spent inside The Facility.
∘ For now, researcher characters are restricted to the Floor Four of The Facility. They may not visit the other floors, although they may exit The Facility itself.
∘ Even characters that are intended to betray The Facility and choose to help the patients must start out following the above rules. You may not create a researcher who has already decided to betray his fellow colleagues.
