The Cupbearer of Satan Name: Mastipal Gender: Female Age: It's not proper to ask a lady that! Old.
Physical Appearance:
Personality:
A demon with a virulent and frigid disposition, Mastipal has an air of sobriety that is nigh impossible to pierce. While the woman is typically pictured as the temptress, and thus many female demons are set to follow the trend, Mastipal has no talent for subtle or delicate gestures. Naturally, this tends to make her a very serious individual with little patience for those who depend on their charisma to get their way, preferring to prove her worth by hard work and dedication. She says exactly what she means and has a tragically straightforward method of going about things. Just because she's very blunt doesn't mean she can't lie or conduct a plan of action, however. Mastipal is actually very smart in the ways of practicality and can be inventive when it's impressed upon her to be, she’s just not particularly good at playing coy. Because of the station she once held and what she contributed to the making of Hell, she is very haughty and conscientious about how she carries herself and how she is viewed. She will never forgive her brother for humiliating her.
Abilities: - Not so much an ability as a curse, Mastipal transforms into a great, white snake when her brother takes his human form. In her snake form, Mastipal has a poisonous bite. - She can sense poison in any media. - Can literally turn water into wine. - Recognizes a summoner and demon no matter what disguises either assume.

The Guard of the Queen Name: Tenebrion Gender: Male Age: As old, and older than Hell itself. Along with his sister, he was one of the angels to Fall in the Beginning.
Physical Appearance:
Personality:
If Mastipal were to be compared to the moon, Tenebrion would be the sun. Truly the twins are about as different as day and night, for where Mastipal is cold and officious, Tenebrion is easygoing and passionate. He’s got a roguish sort of charm and a wholly welcoming exterior, something rather foreign in a demon. It’d be wise to remember, however, that he was once the Guard of the Queen, a title not easily won by a mere glib phrase or two. Tenebrion doesn’t hesitate to carry out what must be done and hardly flinches if that means endangering himself. He is clever, but he’s often a victim to thinking all of his plans are good ones.
Abilities: - His curse, Tenebrion must assume the form of a black snake when Mastipal is human. He is not poisonous, but is quite strong in the area of constriction. - Despite being banished, Tenebrion still holds the ability to influence other demons. If a demon is lower than his former status in Hell (prince), he may force his influence upon them. This is like a great pressure upon the demon, and more often than not, they are inclined to do as he says. Usually they will carry out his will out of respect for his old station. - Can block out or destroy (in the case of lights) up to three sources of light in an area. If he is outside in the daylight, he may cast a haze of shadow within a twenty foot radius around him. - Can recognize a summoner and their demon, no matter what sort of disguise either try to put on.

Their History Five thousand years ago, at the beginning, when Hell was nothing more than a desolate, empty land and the army of demons nothing more than a few straggling angels, the demon twins Mastipal and Tenebrion served Shaitan and his blushing bride. Mastipal, the elder and wiser of the two, served as Shaitan's cupbearer; she brought him laudanum and absinthe when the pain of rule was too great, carried the wine at celebrations, and it was her blood who nourished the spread of Hell. Tenebrion, ever rash, was the Guard of the Queen, Shaitan's right hand, honored above all others. Mastipal was content in her place, proud of her duty which, she thought, no other could fill. Her brother, though, was power-thirsty and without scruples.
He poisoned Mastipal's cup as she brought it to the Lord of Hell. His plan backfired, causing his sister to fall ill. Consumed with wrath, the King of Hell sought out Tenebrion and demanded to know why. Dark-haired Tenebrion refused to answer, and so, Shaitan turned him into a great snake. He healed the injuries of Mastipal and, when she awoke from her poison-induced slumber, told her what her twin had done. Incensed, she demanded to be allowed to kill her brother. His dishonor could not be allowed to stain her name!
Shaitan refused, and instead told her:
"Thy loyalty is true, and thy heart great; but for now, it is thy fate to return to Assiah with thy brother."
He cursed Mastipal and Tenebrion to share their bodies; when Mastipal is human, Tenebrion takes the form of a great snake. When Tenebrion is human, poor Mastipal suffers the indignities of serpenthood. But in their years of wandering the plains, hills, and valleys of Assiah, they found something great and terrible, but could not break past the guards to retrieve it for their Lord.
Yet, they still remember its location, after a thousand years. They are sworn to tell it to only one person, and one person alone...
