Ok, I knew I had stretch marks, but this is stupid. I just found a ton going up my sides and they are an angry red.
Is there anything I can do for it? I mean, I've had them for a long time, since I was a little girl, I'm a 15 stone person and at five foot two it goes right to my stomach thighs and bum. I really want to look ok and not...like I've just had a baby. (I want one at some point thought!)

There really isn't much you can do for them, other then to wait for them to fade. I've had stretch marks since I was about 9 and they always start to fade and become silvery after a year or so. Some people say cocoa butter/shea butter and products like that can help fade them, but from what I understand you have to use them all the time and they don't smell the nicest. I also haven't heard a lot of confirmation that they actually do work. So...I guess the best thing you can do is wait them out. whee

Hehe, I had forgotten about that thread. Dragoon, you actually made a few posts in it: I think that's about as much info as you're going to get.

I know for a fact there are some cellulite creams out there for the thighs and hips. I am not sure if it's safe or ok for your stomach or other areas. I have some stretchmarks after I had naaman. I never knew what one was like until I had him. Let me tell you... Before naaman: my abs were the s**t. After having naaman: my abs are jsut totally shitty. xp I mean.. Geez. I guess I gained a LOT of weight with him overly stretching out the bottom of my belly button and it never went back. So, I have little stretch marks there, and I have a slew in my hips. Lucky enough for me, I'm pretty pale skinned, and you can almost hardly tell. Mine aren't really red though.
Now, my cousin Courtney. I remember when she came down right after she had her first baby. She had dark red stretch marks all up and down her stomach area. Just depends on teh person maybe.

the best thing i have ever found is a cream made by the brand name Palmers - and they do a cocca butter cream specifically for stretch marks and you can use it on any part of the body. i used it during pregnancy and after to fade the ones i did get.
also i havent tried it but it is supposed to be great a product called bio-oil - again specifically for scars and stretchmarks
