Daybreakers? It's a vampire movie (that I can't wait to see). From what I've seen, the only similarity is both movies contain blood.

yeah from what I heard it's about vampires being the top race on earth and they farm humans for blood...so not really anything like Repo!

I love Daybreakers. It was amazing. And it's absolutely nothing like Repo!. It's merely gory. Vampires pwn the world, essentially, and they're running on a blood shortage. A room is filled with body after body for blood. Nope. Nothing like Repo.

I hated that film and I never thought of repo once whilst watching it.

Daybreakers isn't even close to Repo! in any concept. I liked them both, but they are two different films.
And I don't know how you'd do a shadow cast to Daybreakers. Be kind of funny to see people "explode" themselves by throw ketchup packets at each other...

@Repo Beast: It depends on who you ask. Daybreakers has very camp gore effects, and the plot isn't for everyone (which you can say for any movie). If you're a humor-horror fan, I'd say give it a try.
Also depends if the people you are asking know that real vampires die in sunlight. >_>
You never know if you like a movie until you see it for yourself.

Daybreakers could loosely by seen as a Repo rip off. The difference is that the humans are being held where as Nathan was taking back what Geneco gave.
