Is there an official thread somwhere for each production you do?
I think it would be very helpful to have one in the main forum of the guild to tell people who is in charge of a production, who is involved with a production, and some basic important dates specific to that particular production.

We do have several threads throughout the guild that address certain lists of information, but since we don't even have a cast list yet, it would be pretty superfluous to make one right now. However, as soon as we DO have a cast list, we'll need to put up special dates and such, so one will be coming.

Certainly!
So we get a cast through auditions, (there's another coming up Tuesday night,) and we assign each cast member a role according to how well they did in the audition. An audition is basically the actor copy/pasting their monologue into the dialogue box of Gaia Towns, and using proper emoticons and such. So, you're saying lines, and you're acting it out.
Then we cast the roles. Then we have rehearsals in Towns. Then we get an audience, and perform the show.

Just so I understand, it is like a roleplay, but with emoticons, a cast, a script, and a plot and story?
